To be fair, and what I expect, he does look visibly upset by the whole thing.

Can you imagine carraghers reaction if we had won on Saturday, and he was saying 2-1 to a United fan, and they spat at his daughter?
I hope he makes a kind gesture of some sort as a small consolation for all of this.
Gary Neville has also tweeted to carras defence saying it was an isolated incident and he hopes they remain colleagues. I'll never defend carragher for this and he deserves whatever punishment he gets but I thought that was a nice touch.
