Defense was good, they somehow (with a bit of luck) managed to maintain the clean sheet in the first leg and just concede one in the first half tonight, Lovren was sensational.

But hats off to both TAA and Robbo, they played so F***ing good the whole 180 minutes.

When looking at the City forum, there is a general view they were robbed by a concession of bad refereeing decision over two legs.

Some decisions went for them, some against but overall we showed mental strength and had more quality over the two legs. They had their chances in the second half at Anfield and created nothing but we took our chances in the second half at City to win the tie comfortable in the end.

They lost it in the second half at Anfield not by bad refereeing decisions.

Was laughing at the irony of that at the start.
its the same as the plastic flags they just don't get it these money people. Our supporters are at Anfield standing on the back of their forefathers it means something to them other than a result you cant explain that to rich people.
we are rich in other ways and no billionaire alive tonight can experience the feelings we have had tonight. F**k them. Semi final we are ready and we are waiting. Bring it on

Yeah, their second goal was good but to me there was a foul on VVD on their first so can’t rally complain there, they ran out of gas in the seconds half, no team can maintain that pressure for long.

To find one good full back is hard enough but to unearth two great full backs in the space of one season is amazing...they both have fantastic potential.

I want Real Madrid because over two legs we can beat them over a final its a crap shoot. But I wouldn't mind anyone over two legs with this team and this manager

Agree, but would rather get Roma and Bayer to beat Real. Would love Jürgen to beat Bayern in the final.

Nearing end of 1 season and Salah has around 2/3 of the goals Sturridge scored in 6 seasons.

Barca and City thought with their millions  they can walk all over other teams and Liverpool and Roma has just shown them the door. Of the two I hated barca more as they have robbed two of our best players in the last 5 years. What goes round comes round. From the look of it Messi is on the downhill at the moment and they should start getting worried. Bye bye barca and goodnite. And goodnite to  that greedy idiot  Sterling too.

Roma are not to be underestimated too if we get them.

They haven't conceded at home in the champions league this season (group and knockout). So chances could be few and far between. Dzeko is a massive threat.
