A disgusting and despicable act by a bunch of gutless cu*ts! I'd like to think they would be ashamed of themselves but that would require them to possess morals and have a conscience.
I don't care who anyone is, if i was out with any of my mates or fellow supporters and they co-ordinated an attack against an innocent person i would kick the F**k out of them myself. Not acceptable in any walk of life.
Anyway, let's all hope that Sean makes a full recovery and thoughts go out to him and his family, this must be terrible for them to stomach.
Just an aside, is there a possibility now that the return leg could be played behind closed doors?
I've never understood the mentality of football hooligans. For decades at rugby matches all over the world i have sat next to and among opposition supporters at Six Nations and World Cup matches without a hint of trouble. I remember going to watch the World Cup quarter final against South Africa at Twickenham and i was sat among the Springbok supporters. It was an intense game and even though we lost i spent the rest of the evening with South Africans and my mates, not an ounce of bother and a respect for each other that should be present between all supporters in all sports.
