Seeing as we’ve had far too many years of a certain clown in goal, my money would be on that having resulted in a goal.
I think what some people tend to miss is that although it’s deemed a straight forward save to be making, it’s a testament to his concentration levels. A lot of the time Alisson has sod all to do but is then suddenly called into action but reacts as if he’s been busy all game. Our previous keepers, this certainly wasn’t the case.
Maybe a reason why Ederson has a habbit of giving away penalties, has little to do in games but then when he is called into action, his concentration and anticipation isn’t there.
Oh and if that had gone in, I’d also be pointing fingers at Lovren and Trent on why the player was able to run through so easily to get a shot away in the first place.
