But it wasn't?
Just like when a striker misses a chance but then bags the winner you don't give a f**k what happened before it. Ali made an error (saved it after anyway) but he saved two or three almost certain goals last night and simply put we would have lost the game without him. Just as we would have lost to Leeds and Newcastle without him as well.
I don't get it with you, there are just some topics that you become so focused on in one regard that you lose all perspective. VAR, Rafa, face masks now Alisson. Ali could keep 10 clean sheets in a row and you'd still find some weird fault in him just like you don't acknowledge the faults around VAR one bit despite it showing it's a flawed system week in, week out.
Anyway as for Ali, one of the world's best for me and only Oblak is probably better than him.
You can't compare a keeper to a striker.
A keeper is meant to have one blooper a year, if that. A good striker misses 2/3 chances per game. Apples and pears mate.
Let's not take away from the fact that he won us the 3 points yesterday, my point was he almost lost us 2 points.
He's showing us a blooper per game and that's worrying. Is that concentration or just recklessness? Either way he needs to stamp that out.
If he irons that out he goes back to number one on the planet for me.
He's had a bad year, and I hadn't seen anything spectacular from him to fight his case, but the last 4/5 games he's been proper BUT seems to have a blooper every game
