It surely has nothing to do with an injury crisis on the team and missing vital starters. It was Dubai.

Shocking shocking performance tonight. Everything gone pear shape since the Dubai trip which was a bad bad move. Too many scary cats out there, keita only showed some balls in the last 3 minutes of injury time. he could have cost us the game with his lazy stray passes.  That's how good he is, 3 minutes. Salah all over the place,. Firmnho should have been benched long ago but klopp simply do not have the balls to do that and have him as the starting 11 time and again. Lets get Wilson back, at least he can shoot from distance with accuracy when non of those on the pitch could or have the balls to do that. What are they doing on training, all passes to the sidelines and pinned us to the corner, no forward thrust into their box from the middle. Wtf are the tacticians doing, teams will continue to pack their defence and we keep doing the same thing every game, dally at the wings for long periods and lost possession next without creating anything useful. We need an attacking coach urgently to break down packed defence. This bunch of coaches have no more ideas how to do that.

Would love to know what it was in Dubai that has made everything go 'tits up'. Vitamin D overdose? Tortured by camels? Got sand in their eyes? Perhaps they are still awestruck by an experience camping in the Arabian Desert learning the secrets of a fulfilling life from the wisened, cultured Bedouin?

See my pre match post, always new this could be more difficult than expected. Depending on which hammers side turned up. Well they were ok, not great but ok.
On the other hand, I really didn’t expect us to be so poor.
Still 3 up, but something’s got to improve fast, or we’re gonna go into freefall.
We do have a few injuries yes, but Lallana and Shaq don’t really do it for me. Lots of energy but both with little end product often enough.
Not sure if Jürgen got it wrong or it was just down to players poor performances, there seemed to be plenty.
Somethings gotta change before next week end, or we’ll be in the chasing pack thats for sure !

It wasn’t gutless. There was no lack of effort. It just wasn’t a a very good performance. Everyone looked out of kilter, passing was all over the place, lots of poor decisions with the ball mostly.

Totally gutting. Can’t help but think we’ve blown it BUT were still top of the table and maybe we’re better off in a close title fight that goes to the wire, I guess we are gonna find out.

No we're not and yes it is.

We are crying out for a creative midfielder, in these horrible tight games we lack any invention, it's all sideways and hopeless, aimless crosses.  I just don't think we have the mentality to sustain this push, and squad lacks the depth of City's.  Wouldn't mind us signing Rice and Anderson though, best players on the pitch.
