Hope you are all doing good fellow reds!
Been a rough couple of years personally, two years ago my uncle passed away during Ramadan, a holy month for my family as my dad is Muslim and then last Ramadan my nan (who was like a third parent) passed away and now again during Ramadan my brother has had a CT scan come back with scaring on his lung and we hear the verdict from the specialist next week, my brother is adamant he has some sort of lung disease.
I am struggling to keep on top of everything as I suffer from a Functional Neurological Disorder which essentially means when I come under bouts of stress I get pains and muscle spasms in the body. With the potential diagnosis of my brother falling on the same week of nan passing the year before worry is starting to overcome me, I just hope it's not as serious as he thinks. He suffers from shortness of breath, tightness in his chest and on occasion coughs up blood, but he is only 27, surely it can't be a lung disease at that age.
Anyways, I just wanted to get this all of my chest, I hope those who have lost loved ones take comfort in looking back and reflecting on the good times and how much love was hopefully shared with said loved ones, I try to remind my mum of that as much as possible when she has her down days about her late mum, I just hope I have more time with my brother.
