Hello from Germany.
No, i'm not here because i'm a Klopp-fan.
I visit in 1977 the final in Rome as a supporter of Borussia Mönchengladbach. We lost the match, but the Liverpool-Supporters were fantastic, so LFC became my second favorite team.
I have now tickets for the final in Basel and were trying to get some infos of the LFC-Fans.
Now i read in different fan-forums, that the fans are afraid, there could be chaos in Basel, if lots of supporters will come without tickets.
I don't think so.Here is an article of a swiss newspaper.
http://www.tageswoche.ch/de/2016_19/sport/718607/It says, that the police in Basel isn't worried, that the City can't handle a huge amount of fans. There will be three Fan-Areas: Claraplatz, Barfüsserplatz & Münsterplatz.
In another article i read, almost the same: Only the UEFA is afraid of too much LFC-Fans, but the police isn't worried, they say: No Problem. They had during the EURO-Soccer-Championship-Tournament already lots of fans without tickets in Basel and everything was easy.
So, maybe you can tell all the LFC-Fans that it shouldn't be a problem to party live outside the stadium. And even the speech of Juergen Klopp seemed to be, that he has to say officialy it... but it wasn't his real opinion.
Feel free to copy these posting in other forums, so we can create a Small-Liverpool in Basel... ;-)
Sorry for my broken english... but you know the german-english already from your new coach...
