And to think I’d given up. Absolutely F***ing incredible. Atmosphere was unreal. Every single one of them an absolute hero. Coutinho utterly anonymous, best player in the world totally disappeared in the last 30mins... I adore this manager and these players.

Fair play to Suarez though, said he wouldn't celebrate at Anfield - and he was right.  :lmao:

Laughed out loud at this. Classic!

And that's why I say so much about football is between the ears.

We fu**ed them over, and they bottled it.
They just couldn't handle our team, our crowd and our passion, and once the nerves set in, they were just that fraction off, which is all it takes at this level.

Wonderful, wonderful evening, and a huge shout out to the crowd for playing their part, they were f**king mighty.

Very much in the conversation for best side in the world just now. Very much in the conversation.

      That's because you're a shithouse.

I've seen loads of posts slating Origi over the course of this season but anybody who can find fault in his professionalism needs a serious rethink.

The lad was an international.  He could have pissed off but he's effectively sent the title race to the last day and sent us to the Champions League final.  Deserves a shedload of respect IMO.

Well said. Don't forget the club accepted a bid for him from, was it Wolves? And Divock didn't want to leave. Thankful for that.

I have never enjoyed watching a football team so much in my life. F**k the doubters. Pity the moaners. This team brings me to tears for all the right reasons.

Hopefully see some of you in Madrid.

I did doubt, like - hands up. Don't think I'm alone, though.

That's alright, doubting is one thing, giving up is another.

We never gave up and neither did this magnificent football team.

This is why we live in hope.

      This is why we dream.

This is why I probably annoyed every other shopper in Asda, gone midnight, alternating between Allez, Allez, Allez and YNWA.

Excellent game. I'm quite shocked we won.

Weird thing is I am not, It was like how I feel when we were 3-0 in Istanbul, told a couple friends (A Man Utd and Arsenal Supporter), that I don't know how we were going to win, but I just felt that our names were on the Cup and I knew we were winning it...

Someone here said.... (Looked it up)

      Quote from waltonl4 on Feb 15, 2019 10:51:04 pm
yes of course its a mind set its the benefit of being a supporter that you have the perfect right to be as fanciful as you like and I think we are going to win the league and go unbeaten for the rest of the season winning the CL along the way as I don't see who has a better team a better manager better supporters or a better club. I have booked my place in Lime street for the parade
      [/quote]

Would love to be proven wrong mate, if not just so you have a splendid time at the Parade, but in all honesty I feel that this season we have more of a chance at numbers 6, than number 19 so you may yet get that Parade just not the one you think

This was when I started to get that gut feeling that we were going to win the CL this season.  That once again our name is on this Cup
That is why I knew that we would beat Barca last night...

Brain was telling me that with the injuries to Bobby and Mo and being 3-0 down that it could not be done, but my gut told me that winning this was a done deal...

Now it is just a matter of who we face in the final

Life is weird on Sunday night my neighbour collapsed and I ended up doing CPR for 20 mins trying to keep him going but it wasn't to be and he sadly passed away it was a terrible experience very stressful. Tonight was just incredibly stressful but so life affirming if you don't feel totally buzzed by that then what is the point. I know they like to put us through the mill at times but tonight all the suffering is forgotten and I feel drunk without having touched a drop. What a night ,what a team, what a manager and what a club.

Mate... I am so sorry to hear that... How that you and his family are O.K.

My colleague is conveniently a Barca and City fan! He was smirking at me all day last Thursday and even before the game yesterday, he was like, "oh without your front-2, the best you can hope for is a 0-1 victory for Barca"

I just texted him "This is Anfield" last night after the game and the response was a :( He was lost for words!!

My MotM - Alisson!! We had brilliant motivators all over the pitch but the string of saves he produced must have surely crept into the other boys' minds who would've thought, "F**k me, that's a warrior, I'm gonna shed blood and bring us home!"

Just woke up, actually can’t stop thinking about last night. Absolutely mad.

Imagine how boring it is supporting another club :D

EDIT: And not to forget the craziest event of last night, Ripa calling out the boss on here and finally getting the ban hammer :D
