Watching Atalanta vs PSG and judging from Tuchel's reactions to his team scoring you would swear he is the one coaching a humble and exhausted Italian squad that has been overperforming and that Gasperini is the one coaching the multi-billion dollar team who just subbed-in Mbappe as if nothing.
Fairplay for getting through the tie, but the guy looks ridiculous celebrating like they just produced the biggest upset of the century or something. They won't get further than the next round with the way they are playing, absolute trash.
I know and understand how people feel about PSG here, but I can't see the problem in this case. They scored two late goals in injury time to reach the semi finals of the European Cup for the first time in decades. They're obviously going to celebrate that.
The opposition who knocked us out all leaped off the bench and invaded the pitch to celebrate an offside effort against us in injury time. Earlier, the Salzburg coach celebrated a goal against us by beating a path to the corner flag. Not everyone celebrates a goal like Mario Balotelli does.
As for Vidal, he's another fool who believes Bayern are only good because the team win the Bundesliga more than other clubs. If a 8-2 scoreline doesn't demonstrate to him exactly how good Bayern really are, he's beyond help. In our absence, hopefully Bayern will go and finish the job this season. And if it comes down to a straight fight of Bayern v the Sheikhs, we should all hope a proper football club prevails. Plus, we'll get a nice bonus to top up our revenue from the competition this season.
The scoreline was a fair reflection of the game imo. Of course when Barcelona go out, we're told that it's the latest "end of an era". They've won 1 European Cup since 2011, their era was over years ago. They're a one man team who are nowhere near good enough to win the cup these days, let alone declare themselves to be the best team in the world.
