      £750M they've spent on players since 2017

And out of the players bought with that £750M, only two started tonight 😅

All teams go into transition at some time. Barc now joining United.

Some F***ing hiding Bayern gave Barca, they look a shell of a side compared to the one that played us last season.

Won’t be surprised if Pochettino is getting a phone call tonight, am sure that manager will have been given the boot by morning

More like Pep, they need a complete rebuild!!

Absolutely fantastic nite for football. If you didn't enjoy that (( unless your name Lineker ))

Changed it for you, Gary sounded like he was ready for a funeral the hushed tones he was speaking in tonight. Not grinning like a jug eared c**t like last seasons 1st leg!!

He said he never manage Barca because of his ties to their local rival Espanyol as a player and manager. Media asked him about it he said something along the lines of he would rather work on the ranch back in Argentina than manager Barca.

As for the game it was pretty close to what I said about it reminding me of the Brazil v Germany 7-1 game. Think if Citeh get through the City vs Bayern semifinal will be a great one to watch.

In fact all the UCL QF have been enjoyable and look forward to see if Lyon can drum up more magic.

that rule seems fecked up..it meant that one of your own players , out on loan, could play against you in a competition match and turn a 5:2 hammering into an 8;2 humiliation..it is funny though

Had to laugh today when I read if Phillippe was to win the CL with Bayern then Barca would owe us 4.5 million on the grounds in his contract it states if he wins it in 19/20 that money would be owed and never stated it had to be won playing for Barca 🤣.

Dave Edward's some man for the small print in these transfers.

      Quote from PolarBearRed
Watching Atalanta vs PSG and judging from Tuchel's reactions to his team scoring you would swear he is the one coaching a humble and exhausted Italian squad that has been overperforming and that Gasperini is the one coaching the multi-billion dollar team who just subbed-in Mbappe as if nothing.

Fairplay for getting through the tie, but the guy looks ridiculous celebrating like they just produced the biggest upset of the century or something. They won't get further than the next round with the way they are playing, absolute trash.

I know and understand how people feel about PSG here, but I can't see the problem in this case. They scored two late goals in injury time to reach the semi finals of the European Cup for the first time in decades. They're obviously going to celebrate that.

The opposition who knocked us out all leaped off the bench and invaded the pitch to celebrate an offside effort against us in injury time. Earlier, the Salzburg coach celebrated a goal against us by beating a path to the corner flag. Not everyone celebrates a goal like Mario Balotelli does.

As for Vidal, he's another fool who believes Bayern are only good because the team win the Bundesliga more than other clubs. If a 8-2 scoreline doesn't demonstrate to him exactly how good Bayern really are, he's beyond help. In our absence, hopefully Bayern will go and finish the job this season. And if it comes down to a straight fight of Bayern v the Sheikhs, we should all hope a proper football club prevails. Plus, we'll get a nice bonus to top up our revenue from the competition this season.

The scoreline was a fair reflection of the game imo. Of course when Barcelona go out, we're told that it's the latest "end of an era". They've won 1 European Cup since 2011, their era was over years ago. They're a one man team who are nowhere near good enough to win the cup these days, let alone declare themselves to be the best team in the world.

As a neutral who does not hate Barcelona this was painful to watch. Especially that at 3-1 it was already clear that the floodgates could open if Barcelona kept on playing like that. The upper management of this team is in complete shambles. They have so many problems its unreal.

First of all there is the problem nobody speaks of which is that over the years they have pinned themselves down into a corner in which they can't hire any coach unless he is a follower of ''THE CRUYFF WAY''. You would think that this is sustainable given the fact that they one of the richest clubs on earth and can attract any manager but the fact of the matter is that there is not a ton of managers that fit the bill and among those that do fit it the quality isn't always there. You basically have them running after Ronald Koeman who is a decent manager but not the level of manager you would envision taking over a team of such size.

They completely lost it in the transfer market in recent years. They used to be a team who bought a superstar every once in a while but mainly relied on their academy for the spine of the team. They completely deflected from this model and decided they were going to start acting like financial superpower (which they are) but they simply can't put in place a transfer strategy that makes any type of sense no matter how you look at it. How does the Griezman transfer make any sense unless you play him in the middle (even if behind the striker)? Instead Suarez retains his starting position and Girezman is forced to the left which spelled failure before he even hit the pitch. Same goes for Coutinho. He's brought in for an astronomical price yet at this point they couldn't decide where to play him or how to play him. He was thrown around in a host of various positions with no apparent way he is supposed to play and link up with the rest of the team. Same goes for De jong. Guy is clearly top talent and among the world most promising players. Goes to your club and is instantly sh*t. Why are you buying him if you won't even play him in his natural position? How does Busquets retain a starting position? How does a straight swap of Arthur for Pjanic make any sense? Just the difference in age should put you off this one. I could go on for hours. By far the most retarted team in the transfer market.

Could go on for a bit more about their apparent problems but just those two problems are enough to bring down any club.

Barca have come to the end of their cycle and with rumours they are skint for money and with all those players the wrong side of 30 on big money, it's hard to see how they can rebuild to be relevant on the european stage for the years ahead.
