Sorry man, I honestly didn't know. Just looked him up and see he is one of the grumpy pundits which, after about two listens some years ago, I dismissed as totally irrelevant. His playing career was way before I would have been able to follow English football.

I was pretty young in the old NASL days as well. Looks like he was a drinking buddy of George Best. In my journo days I had some interaction with his radio sidekick Tommy Smyth (not OUR Tommy) and he was a know-nothing tw*t. Proof that if you have the right accent you can build a mediocre media career around "soccer" in the States.

On the bright side I'm now totally convinced there is nothing to it. I mean, I'm sure words have been exchanged, we saw it w Hendo and Thiago Saturday. Happens all the time. But some big story about Klopp bailing, rubbish.

I absolutely detest the media in this country. I am thinking of watching all LFC games through the website now, I cannot stand this endless looking for a conversation.
Its not just our club of course, its everything. I cannot stand it, the radio, papers, TV - I would like to live on an island and watch football as a sport and enjoy it, but every defeat is treated like there needs to be a national enquiry.

I am sure Jürgen is strong enough to ignore this and knows how much we owe him.

Regarding klopp, I have said I think he may walk, but I hope I’m wrong. He’s the best thing to happen to this club since I was at school last century.

Would love to see a gathering of fans outside Kirkby to clap Jürgen into training (and the team) but I suppose it is against local regulations at the moment.

What the F**k to do with social media I don't F***ing know, it's not just this, but with all the Trump lies, conspiracy theories, celebrity, it's an open F***ing sewer, big lumps of sh*t and toilet paper, used F***ing johnnies and fatbergs, all sloshing the F**k around.

It can be positive, but seems to be mainly the negative that makes headlines. Most of it is bollox, but still a fair chunk of people lap it up.

Jürgen's going nowhere, he'll be here next season doing his best to win trophies for this club. And thank F**k for that.
