A few of my mates were hoping for a new deal worth at least 75million in order to match mcunts deal.
If the 30million is correct. We would need over 200million in sales to match/exceed the 75million. It seems like a number that couldnāt be reached but we should be able to at least match the current shirt sales from NB. Thatās over half of the 200million. Since we will get 20% of all LFC merchandise sales, I dont see it being a problem reaching/exceeding the the remaining numbers.
Everybody loves mentioning that top end United figure.
Nobody mentioning how it drops 30% if United fail to get into CL next season.
"there is a clause in Adidasā contract with United that states that if the club fail to secure a place in European club soccerās elite tournament for two consecutive seasons the sportswear brand reduces its payment by 30 per cent.
Unitedās deal with Adidas was signed back in 2015 and brings in UKĀ£75 million (US$91.9 million) per season. A 30 per cent reduction on that figure would be UKĀ£55.2 million (US$68.4 million). Whilst still a substantial amount, that would drop the club behind Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea in terms of annual revenue from their kit deal."
Nike deal will be the biggest in LFC history, based on last season's sales numbers, & has the potenital to reach Barca & Real Madrid numbers, depending on sales.
That's unheard of for the club.
