Headline says it all really.
Today's game against Chelsea will be Jürgen's 150th Premier League game in charge. He's the first Liverpool manager to do it since Rafa. Four managers have made the achievement for the club in the Premier League era - all three foreigners and old Bootroom boy Roy Evans. Many managers in the past reached 150 League games as but not one of them can touch Jürgen's win record. In fact the only Liverpool manager who has a better win percentage than Klopp in the League is our second ever manager - John McKenna - with 22 wins in 30 games.
McKenna - 22 wins in 30 games - win % 73.33
Klopp - 91 wins in 149 games - win % 61.07
Dalglish - 160 wins in 280 games - win % 57.14
Paisley - 212 wins in 378 games - win % 56.08
Benitez - 126 wins in 228 games - win % 55.26
Shankly - 319 wins in 609 games - win % 52.38
Fagan - 44 wins in 84 games - win % 52.38
Rodgers - 63 wins in 122 games - win % 51.64
Ashworth - 65 wins in 127 games - win % 51.18
Taylor - 73 wins in 143 games - win % 51.05
Barclay - 29 wins in 58 games - win % 50.00
Houllier - 108 wins in 216 games - win % 50.00
Evans - 83 wins in 172 games - win % 48.26
Watson - 297 wins in 678 games - win % 43.81
Souness - 47 wins in 115 games - win % 40.87
McQueen - 83 wins in 210 games - win % 39.52
Kay - 121 wins in 321 games - win % 37.69
Patterson - 136 wins in 366 - win % 37.16
Hodgson - 7 wins in 20 games - win % 35.00
Welsh - 75 wins in 218 games - win % 34.40
From that goalless draw against Spurs on his opening game to a run of fourteen consecutive League wins, it's been an amazing ride with Klopp at the helm. Let's hope it continues for a very long time and along the way we pick up a League Title (or two or ten!)
Thank you for the first 149 games Jürgen.
