Saints wanted a buy option and we refused. It's not to say that its totally impossible that Edwards wants to negotiate in the summer and is hopeful for a better position to do that from (if Minamino performs well). I'm personally hoping he does with soton and can actually come back and be of use for us.

I think Origi had no takers in January, and plus Klopp said he liked to use Origi's height on set pieces? Still, I'd rather see Taki given the chance next season, instead of Origi.
