Just over 48 hours until we play another match.
Wolves have rebounded from a slow start and have a decent position in the league while still alive in Europa League play.
On paper this might look like a letdown game for us after such a sparkling performance vs. Leicester City.
Playing less than 72 hours from the previous game might call for some rotation as well, but my hope is Jürgen can go with the same 11 for this match as vs. Leicester. The Sheffield match will be in another three days after this one and that might be a better chance to rotate. On the other hand, Jürgen may choose to rest a few players for this, a few for Sheffield and a few for the Everton match on Jan. 5.
He did say in this morning's presser that he expects all of last night's bench (Milner, Lallana, Origi, Shaqiri, Jones, Williams) plus Harvey Elliott and maybe Rhian Brewster to be involved over the next few games. Not sure if he means they will get on the park - I doubt he's promising that at this point.
Looking forward to seeing us keep this unbelievable run going.
