This is the wrong move for the club to take, no doubt about it. Hopefully they will rectify it, but who knows. That said, it's not the first time the club hasn't been on the right side of a decision (Suarez debacle, Standard Chartered basically a money launderer and Iran sanction violator, Nike and their purported sweatshop workers) but it doesn't undo what the club is about and all the good that the club has done over the years.
Just like Man City doing the right thing in this instance doesn't just give them a clean bill of health for all the illegal and underhanded dealings they've been mixed up in.
Kick the owners out, fine by me, but you'll just get new ones that are likely slightly different versions of the same. I really, really hope the club see how upset supporters are by this and change course, and to me that would speak more about the club itself...that the folks that really count can affect change on any level of decision.
If you think this taints the title somehow, I guess I won't ever understand that. This decision has nothing to do with what Klopp and the team have done this season and what they deserve.
If you aren't going to enjoy the title, I'm sure there's nothing anyone can say to change that feeling, but to me that's like cutting off your nose to spite your face.
