My take from this first half so far is that Naby Keita's going to have a big season!

Yeah, Gini/Fab/Milly midfield maybe a bit too conservative

Not really looked like it to be honest. Arsenl had the clearer sights at goal even taking out their goal.

We’ve had chances and scored a goal which was marginally offside! I still think we should have equalised.

Created F**k all so far which is not surprising considering the midfield we have and young Neco doesn’t look to be up to PL pace yet.

Get Gini off and Keita on ASAP.

If we haven't scored by the 65th bring on Rhian and Minamino.

Neco has a lot to work on r.e his defensive positioning.

Half time analysis - not mad about the white stripe down the side of the kit - will get used to it I guess

Someone remind me how much better Salah is than Suarez, Salah and Bobby are passengers in this game, Neco looks miles off good enough, he used to offer an attacking threat but now that's gone as well.

Bit naff in almost every way. Arsenal look like scoring with each attack, whilst we look half asleep / lacking effort any time we go forward. Even worse at the back.

Only a friendly, so not overly fussed, but the trend continues. Since we won the title, we've hardly played well at all. Only a friendly, but that needs changing now!

Front 3 can’t get in it at all. As expected, hating this midfield.

Robbo and Mane playing well. Milly too.

Gini is non existent out there. Need to get Keita on for him.

We are the better team but will probably lose to the shitty arse again.

Arsenal like night and day in terms of confidence from before Arteta came in. Their goal was a good goal, not an indictment on a right back who can't be expected to cover the entire half of the pitch on his own.

Some of you are overreacting about a young, backup right back. He has shown a lot of promise but players his age are typically going to have ups and downs. He has given away possession a few times early, but also showed a brilliant piece of skill in keeping a ball alive on the wing and sending a ball into the area to cause some problems.

I mentioned before about the odds being against us, and really what I've seen so far is that the touch, timing and understanding in combination play is just lacking a bit, especially in build-up play. I thought this actually started to look a better in the final 10 minutes so there could still be something in this for us.

Still the same team that just won the league in runaway fashion - enough about "we should buy players" - please!

Same old same old, Gomez gets it passes to Virg who passes to Robbo back to Virg to Gomez back to Virg back to Robbo kick up field hope Sadio gets on it or just whip in a cross and there’s no one there.

We just never go through the middle and James needs to get over and protect Nico’s side of the pitch coz Mo’s not and he’s being ripped into on that side.

Bit of a negative midfield today considering no Trent.

Minutes into the boys though which is good.

Oh yes, the kit is sh*t. Too much white on it. The stripe down the shorts is crap, and what tool thought of putting blue on it 🤷‍♂️
The neck with the v shape on the back, may confuse the opposition as they won’t know which way we’re facing.
Seen pics recently and wasn’t sure, but in the flesh, looks like we are getting further away from our traditional.
2 out of 10 for that.

Put Keita and Thiago in that midfield it would be elevated multiple fold.

Might see Naby on for Neco, with Milner moved to right back and Gini staying on.

Would be a bit of a worry though if TAA was out of action for a period of time, think he'd get targeted, his game still lacks maturity imho.
Big diff between what we're getting down this side from Robbo vs his side.
He'll probably go have a cracker in the 2nd half now I've said that :)
