Nah he really isn't. His best spell for the club was 2019 - 2020. He had a good patch. But je isn't good enough to be back up on the bench. Tbh we should of got rid afyer Madrid when his stock was high. He's served his time, but we need better players than Div.

I agree, but while he's here, I'll support the lad.

And let's face it, only getting a few minutes here and there is hardly conducive to either form or confidence.

Tbh I agree, but he seemed to piss Klopp off yesterday and a couple of players when he went down in the West Ham box. And it's not the first time players at the club have spoke about him being lazy. Bobbyand Ali being the main two.

Thing is, laid back looks like lazy to intense people.

I thought he did OK yesterday.
Could have done a bit better with chances, and he should really use his physicality more, but we've known that about him from when he first came here.

Anyway, back on topic, 51 points for us to play for.
A good run of games will see us right up there.

That was a year and a half ago, what has he done since?

Not much, because he’s low down the pecking order and has barely played.

What are you expecting? Mbappe to come in?

We have our usual front three who given the choice, always start. But one was injured and another one needed a rest.

Jota is first choice back up to replace any of them when needed. But he is also injured. So who are the other options?

Shaq, origi, minamino and at a push Ox but he’s more of a back up for our midfielders.

Shaq is a technically good player but his pace and work rate have been a problem for our system in the past. But he started anyway. So that leaves a toss up between Origi and Minamino. Are you telling me whenever minamino has featured his performances warrant a place over Divock? Give over.

Im not a huge fan of origi myself and to be honest, neither of them are good enough to consistently play for us week in week out. But games like yesterday where one of them has to come in and do a job then you’ve got to give divock the nod because he’s done far more in a red shirt than what minamino ever has.

2 W's in a row and reinforcements arriving. This race is far from over, though wasn't there some clown who said we should have a "race for top 4 thread" instead?

Has Jürgen gotten the sack for his tactical shortcomings yet?

United have a tricky home game v Southampton tonight. Assume Tike wont be eligible so hopefully Danny Ings does us a little favour

Points expectancy, united to win. Potential for saints to nick a point

The last game Taki played for us, he looked ok. Better than previous efforts. perhaps he hasn’t featured since because Saints showed some interest, and Jürgen didn’t want him to get injured before the loan move was completed.

City playing Burnley again. Sure they play each other about 14 times a season. Fair play to anybody putting themselves through that tonight. It's already enough like Groundhog Day at the minute without having to watch City yet again beat Burnley 5-0

Bye the bye, if we were to win the title this year, VVD would still get his medal as he's just got the 5 games required.

no not really, unless we were desperate for the loan fee. I think its just a case of Jürgen not fancying him at the moment, but wanting to see how he gets on at Saints and then either bring him back into the fold or sell him in the summer. Quite clever although I still don't understand why he favours Origi over Taki, but obviously there's a lot we don't get to see.
