They beat Spurs comfortably, could easily have won 3 or 4 nil, so might be a little trickier than expected.
And its not like we've been beating all lower table sides and having trouble against higher placed ones
Still, we're on an upswing so hopefully we can put them away.
Spuds were gash and toothless without Dirty Harry, not taking anything away from Brighton they fully deserve their win, and like you said it could have been a proper 4/5 battering, however, even with our depleted squad we are a completely different animal, especially of late where we seem to have our mojo back,
So here’s what I think will happen, BaHA will set up with a single decker in the hope we have a off day and will try and nick one, then they’ll make it a double decker and defend their imaginary lead, it’s not going to happen,
What will happen tho is unfortunately for them we will be tearing them a brand new arsehole, there is absolutely no chance on this earth that we will taking our foot off the gas, we’ve only just got going, so with a wee tweak here and maybe there I would go with this....
Alisson
Trent Phillips Henderson Robbo
Wijnaldom
Thiago Jones
Salah Bobby Mane
Giving old Father Time Milner a wee rest, he’ll be back V City, Mane comes back in , no way is he missing two on the bounce, was going to go for Shaq (bit of a coin toss) but choose Jones instead, impressed with his go at them attack V hammers with immediate affect, Thiago stays in, his overall reading of the game and his passing skills are hard to leave on the bench when we need the creativity, Mo on fire, Bobby has his mojo back and Mane like a rabid dog for goals, what’s not to like ?
At the back Phillips deserving of another outing next to our outstanding Skipper Trent & Robbo speak for themselves and last but by no means least and still for me the best goalie in the league, the ever reliable Alisson Becker.
Bench ; Kelleher, Davies, Shaqiri, Ox, Tsimikas, Milner, Origi, Neco
