The lack of balls, desire, heart, pride and drive has everything to do with what's happened since Xmas.

It's pretty much this team that got 97 points and came 2nd, only to come back the following year and win a 1st title in 30 yrs.
They've shown they have backbone. Just not happening right now.

I disagree. From my amateur playing days if you felt confident, you played even harder. That’s how I see it tbh. But we’re all different...

They were playing Everton in a local Derby today ... defending the one proud record we had left to defend. They played like wet lettuces. Thats nothing to do with confidence. They just didn't have the stomach for it .... same against Brighton West brlm Newcastle Southampton Fulham United and Burnley .... and so on.

You have your opinion .... thats fair enough. I respect and accept your opinion. Ive got mine. They are gutless and spineless in my opinion. No pride and no heart. Great teams get stronger in adversity  ... when doubted and questioned and written off they fight back. This lot couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag. When the going got rough .... they went missing in action. Nowt to do with confidence.

      Surelyyyyy players must get dropped?

Dropped and replaced by who, you F***ing weapon? Every time we bring Origi on for any of the front 3 you all have a meltdown. Our squad is down to the bare bones and has been most of the season. Shall we play the u11's from the academy next game?

Bare bones? Yeah we have issues at CB and Jota out ... everyone else is fit ... 3 cbs on the bench. Dont hide these 'performances'  behind injuries  .... the under 11s would have shown more fight today.

Dig what you’re saying, but when Jordan went off, their heads dropped further as if saying, what another injury?

Luck is against this team currently and you don’t have to be superstitious to be affected by such a run of bad luck. Bound to affect anyone imo...

Go on what would your lineup have been then. Obviously you're also working with the benefit of hindsight

9 points from 11 league games. Oh wow.

Bump all this talk of waiting and City buying titles. This is the new game. If you wanna watch City win a title 4 out of every 5 years and pray you are lucky enough to be in position to captilze on there down year than have at it.

This is football now. You have to spend. You can't just sale to buy or pray you hit Homer's on bargains. You need football owners, not people looking to turn a profit. FSG have accomplished a lot in 21st century LFC terms. But in order to restore LFC to where it use to be, you have to have owners who are willing to pump money in to the team, year in and year out. It's a sad state that this is football, but it's football. You can achieve success in the short term for a short time, absolutely. But to be a top club year in and year out, you have to spend and adapt.

Klopp is a monster in ideal times, maybe the best. However, he isn't the best at adapting and playing to the strength of the players AVAILABLE. Fire him? Hell no!!!! Do your best that he has ideal conditions and a squad he can motivate and pull the most out of.

Thanks FSG for # 6 and 19. Thanks for the world title. But this business. We deserve better. We need new owners

I could only listen to the game, seemingly feel losing 2-0 to the bluesh**e at home we have reached rock bottom. Further more with so many injuries and a threadbare squad, how low down the table can we go !

Again, this was Liverpool minus VVD+Matip. It's just that simple for me.

Jürgen sticks to his system against weaker teams and even that makes sense because every game in the same system is a step towards perfection in that system.

Again and again and again: stay calm, continue to play. B*tching does not help. It's not even about us failing to deliver a deeper bench because it was always crystal clear that we don't have the funds of City, so we have a thiner bench and need to hope for decent health which didn't work out this season. Next season we will be back. This season we can still win CL and are right in the race for 4th. This is not over.

Heads have gone, hearts and desire have gone.

A broken mess of a team.

Thinking VVD's return is gonna fix this is naive at best.

      Spent force.

Not hindsight mate. Been saying for weeks im sick of our best mids playing cb.

Today henderdon would have been in midfield in place of Jones in my team and Davies or Phillips at the back.

But forget the team selection ... nothing excuses the lack of fight we saw again today. No desire and no heart. They simply don't have the stomach for it.

You can blame individuals, but im not going to start picking on certain players ... but as a team and a squad they have not got it. They couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

Can't agree with that. That should have been the mindset today in the derby. Instead we got a massive pile of sh*te.

      Robbo left trent right.

      Tsmiskas lb and neco rb.

If Tsimisks doesn't cut it at left back then we should have never gone out and bought a F***ing left back for peanuts.

Surely trying something new won't hurt

I can’t remember a more gutless performance in a derby ever.

Not since the last defeat to them under Roy Hodgson.

That was the last proper spineless performance in a derby.
