Barella absolutely is "world class", if by that you mean one of the best in his position. I've watched a lot of him and he's a very complete midfielder. If he's really available for 50m, which I doubt, then we'd be stupid not to be in for him.

Dumfries is a good defender and has the energy to get up and down the pitch, but lacks quality in the final third. Dimarco is more our type of player. Him, Bastoni, Lautaro and Barella would all be excellent players for us.

Anyway, hoping to see another CM and then a left sided CB doing the lean soon. I do like the look of Thuram but haven't seen enough of him to be sure, same with Kone.

We just let a 30 year old Brazilian superstar leave. No chance.

Would make no sense to bring in Griezmann and carry 6 forwards. That's just too many to keep everyone happy. The 6th forward wouldn't even make most game squads and i'm sure Griezmann would want competitive wages wherever he goes.

Would be hard for most people to turn down Real for this europa version of LFC to be fair. Not sure what we could have offered him that Real can't and more at this point.
