mmm, well, apart from being entirely at fault for the second goal as well as the first one

he launches himself 10 yards forward out of position leaving a massive gap in behind him which United just waltz through and score

big heart but no football brain Nat, but yeah he played his heart out tonight, at fault for the 2 United goals but an assist and a clearance off the line kind of levels things up

good to see his ma and da on here voting him MOTM again  :lmao:

Laughing emojis should be saved for Facebook! Nat isn't first choice, but he's giving 100%

      Williams was marking someone else

He can't mark his own player and cover Phillips' fuckups at the same time

Give the lad a bit of F***ing credit yerself

Are you Phillips' arl fella or sumpn? Would explain a lot. And Huyton's nearly in Bolton so it all stacks up.

Yeah yeah whatever you F***ing beaut he wasn't marking anyone he was caught cold lost. What the F**k is sumpn you illiterate c**t?

The clip I saw was the other way around!

Had it on a stream, I must have seen it on other coverage, it was from a different angle, Klopp on the left of McTominay, ManƩ not even in shot.

Anyway as long as Klopp can handle the situation, it's no biggie, but Sadio really needs to up his game and stop pissing and moaning if he wants his place back, no way he gets in the side ahead of Jota on this season, so tough sh*t Sadio lad

I believe if THEY finished 5th and won the CL and we finish 4th we'd lose out?

Top 4 in premier league into Champions League, the only time that can't happen is if the English teams win the Champions League and the Europa League, then 4th place team drop out as max amount of teams allowed from any country is 5.

If Chelsea win the Champions League and finish outside the top 4 there will be 5 English teams in next year's Champions League.

If the team that wins the Champions League also finish in the top 4 it does not allow 5th place into the Champions League

If a club win the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League and finish in the top four, their qualification for the UCL through their league position is not transferred to another team.
Just to clear this debate up. The statement above only depicts the scenario of us finishing 5th and Chelsea winning the CL and finishing top 4 hence, ā€œtheir league position is not transferred to another teamā€, i.e. the team in 5th place.

In the scenario that we finish top 4 and Chelsea finish 5th and win CL, we will still qualify. Some years ago we wouldnā€™t have but the rules changed, canā€™t cite the exact details about the rule change but remember a similar scenario being discussed a few years back.

I think it stems from '05 when we finished 5th behind the Bitters but being CL holders were allowed to compete (it apparently hadn't happened before) and so the Bitters lost out and we're even more bitter towards us!

Watching the highlights again. Lot of credit for Jotas backheel goal and our 3rd goal was pure title winning Liverpool. Not seen enough of that this season and we've obviously still got it in us.

Doing the same here, my sports channel is showing a complete rerun in an hour as well and think I'll even watch a streamed replay of MOTD later as well! it's amazing what a victory does to viewing figures Eh?

Loved the Salah celebration - you can see how much it meant.

By the way, Fabinho has started 5 games in midfield in the prem this season and guess what - you guessed it - we won all 5.

      Just a thought JĆ¼rgen

I hadn't seen that until MOTD. Looked ecstatic which is impressive in an empty stadium.
