They could be 9 points behind us after the next two games, and if so, that's going to be a long way back for them. When you need 90-95 points to win a league, you can't afford slow starts. As we know very well, you can lose it by October. They started slow last season, but got away with it. When they started slow 2 years ago, we were 8 points clear by the October break and won it with 7 games to go. And this season is going to be more similiar to that year than last year.

And they were 7-10 points behind us in February a few seasons ago and ended up winning it so your point is irrelevant. The season isn’t won or lost in October. All it takes is a couple of bad results at any given stage and it can change the entire landscape of the season so again, your point is irrelevant.

A draw in this fixture would be a perfect result for us

City is so superior that even Chelsea cannot go one-to-one with them. It's City that is our main competitor. But it also shows what's wrong in modern football. It's unfair to let a team with a market value of 1 billion play a team with 200 Mio. less. We need a draft system like in the NFL.

Over one game, City is definitely stronger. But this Chelsea team will be able to grind out results. City will lose some seemingly easy games (and I'm afraid to say it'll be the same for us).

City and Chelsea is interesting to watch if not a little dull.
      City certainly on top.

As for united and villa, villA have missed a glorious chance. All leading towards a scrappy united win I think.

He does himself no favours. Even if what Klopp said is true you don't come out in public and state what Ole did.  Klopp beating him on mind games as well as being different class to our w@nkfest of a manager.
