Anybody else getting sick of seeing more and more of these popping up on their Twitter & Youtube feeds?
Opened up Twitter this morning to see a bit of reaction following last night's game, was greeted with a video of some freak being interviewed in what looks like his ma's spare room, talking about how Klopp has "slapped him in the face" and "damaged his legacy" after last night. For starting Divock Origi in a game of football (which we won in pretty excellent fashion, by the way).
Like, honestly - who the f**k are you mate? And what on earth makes you feel so self important to come out with such a ridiculous comment? Feels like the Internet is becoming overrun with these muppets now. Self-important, over-confident balloon heads. Most, I think, probably don't even believe in what they're saying and only do so to gain more clicks / shares / subscribers or whatever. There must be a fair few quid in doing what they do, otherwise they surely wouldn't be embarrassing themselves to such an extent if there wasn't.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind certain content / podcasts. I think some of The Anfield Wrap stuff is decent, well produced and thought out. But these oddballs videoing themselves watching the match in their bedroom, screaming their head off every five seconds and over exaggerating their reaction to every chance / goal need to do one. They seem to be like dogshit at the minute - absolutely everywhere, and they're becoming impossible to ignore. Because even when fair minded people respond by telling them to pack it in, that response in turn usually helps unintentially broadcast the original post to a wider audience.
Shouldn't really be getting wound up by these cretins, but you know for a fact that 99% of them don't really give a toss about Liverpool and are shamelessly using the club & it's large fanbase as an avenue to make a name for themselves. I think that's the infuriating part
