Then write to your countrymen  and ask them to provide funds to help buy quality cover whilst players go & represent their countriesā€¦

Jota up from on his own Thursday then ;D

Unfortunately we will probably put Ox in the attack where heā€™s even less effective than usual.

Fabinho has been back for a while now as have Henderson - they both played against Leicester, itā€™s been poor excecution today

Kante and Kovacic dominated the midfield today

Yes, they bossed the midfield today.

But the main point I was making about Fab and Hendo was that I'll keep defending these guys because they shoulder the weight constantly while other players are:
      - out injured
      - off form
      - or just not good enough.
There are other midfield options available, even today, but for whatever reason management play them and leave them on the pitch even when they are not at their best.

      League is gone then.
Carragher is absolutely right. Weā€™ve lost the ability to control games. It feels too chaotic. Happening to many times.
Ultimately, itā€™s absolutely ludicrous that FSG think we can keep competing with a machine like city whilst bringing nobody in.

Fair result, no complaints really. Delighted with how assured Kelleher looked.

But I'm beyond annoyed at how we never seem to get a clean run of a fully fit squad to choose from these days. Most of last season was made up of a makeshift side and this year were getting back into the swing of things with x player out with such and such.

Not surprised. JĆ¼rgen generally goes with his tried and trusted in the big matches. Didn't do much when he came on. If anything Jones looked sharp.

And all muslims if I remember rightly.

      You're just a little scumbag

No no WAHS, not all Muslims. You obviously didn't remember rightly. Just the Muslims who have spent the last 2 decades in this country raping little girls and boys and the ones who have blown themselves up killing innocent people in this country. There are millions and millions of good Muslims all over the world and there are also bad ones as well. As with any religion or creed.

I don't judge people on their skin colour or religion, i judge people on their character. But you can associate my honest and factual comments with race or religion if it fits your perception of me, that's fine.

It still doesn't alter the facts, if you don't like the truth then carry on living a lie. Certain people have carried out horrendous crimes against children in this country. i don't care what colour or religion they are, they all deserve to be hanged by the neck until dead.

Please continue this via PM as i think you shouldn't be making false accusations against me on a public forum. The only reason i responded was because it is my right to respond under my human rights and freedom given to me by the many military warriors who died to give me that right.

Again, Fab and Hendo getting a lot of stick.
Fab coming back from covid and Hendo from being sick.

Read into that what you will.

I read into it that Naby is inconsistent and Ox is consistently no more than ok. I agree with you, the other 2 are safer bets in a big game (as is Milner). What we could do with is a top class AM to play alongside 2 of those 3. Thiago is the man, but his injury proneness is getting a bit worrying. (Jones is another possibilty, but still can be a bit loose in possession). Personally I would have kept Lallana, although he was struggling with injuries for a while, but anyway it feels now like we could do with another AM, with Ox maybe making way for him in the squad.

Edit to add: However if Harvey Elliot is due back soonish, he and Thiago could give us 2 really good options there, with Jones maybe coming off the bench when needed. Not sure when he is likely to be back though.

Very true, but one thing I do not understand is how you can be so close to title glory year after year and not dip into your pocket to maybe keep winning the dam thing. I suppose they are not in the gambling game, even 1% 🤷🏼

Exactly. And until we have guys who JĆ¼rgen trusts to a similar level, they'll continue to shoulder things, as long as they are able to walk over the white line.

I don't think they will gamble at all mate but ok the flip side we have strengthened with Taki, Thiago, Tsimikas and Konate along with young Elliott.

If we signed no one I'd agree but we have signed players that on theory have made an already great team stronger.

Thought he was better than last game out, and battled hard as always. Deffo better than Jota who I thought was poor enough today.

      Great interview from Pep

Maybe we are being too critical about it all

Itā€™s was a great game and Chelsea and us were superb , but we just need to be perfect every game because of the squad City have and no team can do that
