Liverpool hope to keep their momentum rolling with a Saturday afternoon match at Anfield vs. Norwich City. The East Anglian side sit 18th in the table and four points from the last survivor position, but managed a draw vs. Palace and a win over Everton in recent weeks (before losing 4-0 to Man City).
Jürgen's mission will be to guard against complancy, but also to find the right combination of freshness for a match that comes less than 70 hours after the conclusion of the CHampions League game in Italy, and about the same amount of time before a home kickoff with Leeds on Wednesday. Much has been written about the newfound depth in the squad, but there is still the matter of picking the right players for the right games and the players then justifying their inclusion with their performance.
