Another three points. Thought we were the better team overall and didn’t really feel too nervous with just the 1 goal lead.

It was weird because the stats say Liverpool were much better! Yet it felt like West Ham had the much better chances.

A grind when not playing at your best

That was such a good win. Could have 5-3 on another day

West Ham playing as well as they could. We don't play our best but hey ho they lose and we win. Konate and Trent struggled defensively. Robbo by far our best defender today. Diaz direct strong and unlucky not to score a goal. Despite Beglin's pathetic attempts to belittle his performances by saying he's just got 1 goal he was by far our best attacker.

Midfield especially Hendo and Keita were excellent (match saving tackle from the latter). They were sharp and aware and are the main reason for us securing the three points.

Mane and Salah had very tame displays but the former is still our match winner (shows how important he is). Salah seemed to be passing it to the keeper today. Just didn't have his boots on. You'd expect better from them at home and against this type of competition.

Commiserations to those who watched the whole match with Beglin's abysmal commentary. You have my pity. A sour, insipid and bitter old man.

Save your ire for spurned chances by our forward line. And Robbo was defensively solid and made a few critical defensive contributions.

Can’t remember a positive ball from Hendo the midfield was poor today and it’s been like that to often lately, but for poor finishing from West Ham …..Just watch how many times Hendo plays the ball back to whoever has passed it to him
