Thiago Alcantara is named in the starting line-up as Liverpool make four changes for this evening’s Champions League last-16, second-leg clash with Internazionale.

The midfielder returns after recovering from a hamstring issue that he sustained in the warm-up to the Carabao Cup final at Wembley recently.

He is joined in the XI by Joel Matip, Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota, with Luis Diaz, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita and Ibrahima Konate the players making way from the weekend victory over West Ham United.

Lovely lineup. Was hoping to see Bobby make the bench but i guess he's still not ready for game action.

Very strong and brilliant line-up.

We're going for it as we deserve as fans.

Great to see Thiago back and Jota getting a start.

Also pleased Jones is starting as he was excellent last game out.

First goal is important we score 3 goals up they scorecand no doubt the nerves will show

It’s just brilliant that we can now chop & change and still have a very good starting X1 in any competition, rotation allows the resting of busy players like Diaz, without which he’d be knackered before Xmas came around, many ppl understandably  doubt we can take all 4 but with rotation and keeping players fresh we have every chance.

Tonight only one winner for me, Inter will test us of course but can’t see them giving us too many dramas,
