Although anyone could have made those changes. We were so bad and our failures were obvious to everyone.

On a much more positive note, just saw on Twitter Jürgen closed his post-match presser by congratulating Nat Phillips for winning promotion with Bournemouth. I mean, nobody would have faulted him for not mentioning that. I didn't even know it was happening tonight.

But what a man. Compare that to the bitterness that you quoted.

That Coquelin tw*t should've got a yellow for all his dives.

The man is 100% humanity.  Better than most of us and I think it's reasonable to admit that.

And that is why he is a perfect fit for a club that we all look up to to decide whether our weekends, or midweeks, end happy.  Such a nice touch.  Drink these moments in because in 10 years time we'll all be moaning on here about something - just like we were at half time!!

He’s an inspiration in so many ways, some rival fans hate him but deep down they would all absolutely love to have him in their club.

His football philosophy is second to none but what we all really love about him is his personality, passion and humility.

Everyone can relate to him. I’m drinking it all in as I know nothing lasts forever, I’m going to enjoy every second!

It wasn't a dig mate. It was simply a statement that our 1st half was so bad that anyone could have identified the problems. Bringing on Diaz was a no brainer.

Why try to twist things into negative contention on a night of achievement and celebration? Only bitterness you'll see is in the mirror.

Wow - what a result. In such trying circumstances as well. A yellow pandemonium but we found a way to prevail. Those first 15 minutes of the second half were absolutely critical. It could so easily have been the case that Villareal push and capture the third leaving us in utterly dire straits. But we held our nerve when it mattered most and turned the corkscrew.

A Champions League final once more.

What a blessing Jürgen and his men are. Incredible!

It was very much like the first leg I thought.  They held up well for 45 minutes but just the sheer athleticism of the team did for them in the second half.  Longer it went on the more goals we were going to score.

It's a golden period.  Even the team that got 98 points and finished second.  It's just incredible when we come to look back on it.  We all get caught up in the 'we should have beat Newcastle more than 1-0' and even half time here tonight when we were all panicking but they will end up writing books about this period and we will forget the minor details of it all.

When I was a kid Liverpool were amazing, and after many many years of averageness I've now got kids of my own who are just about old enough to enjoy this like I did.  I feel incredibly privileged about that.

      With you.

What pisses me off in all of this excellence, though, is that we'd have absolutely cleared up if not for a dirty cheque book, dodgy surveillance of rule breaking when it comes to transfers and a good cheque book manager. Not enough has been done and not enough said about it.

      Anyway

      Up the F***ing reds.
