Love this team, love the manager. I’m sure it’ll get sorted but right now it’s painful to watch.

      Amen.

I'll likely criticise quite a few of them tonight and have done.

Doesn't change the above though. We'll said

      Agree.

We can all be level headed, like to think I am, but I don't blame anger after a sh*t show like this. Following two other less than ideal games.
I'd like to go on record to say I for one am f**king livid

carragher is right ( for once) biggest worry for me, is we didn't look ready for the game. just like Fulham, it came as a shock to us that they came and gave us a game

Without getting into the 'it's FSG who won't spend/it's Klopp who doesn't think we need signings' thing I can tell you this; Injuries aside, we need two midfielders, at least. And we probably needed that last season.

Whoever it is, out of the two, that has decided that we don't, is F***ing sh*t up.

That was as bad as I've seen from a Liverpool side in a very long time.

Trent needs dropping for a while. But of course, the lad we bought to compete for Trent's position - is injured.

We look physically and mentally fatigued. Being at the start of the season, I'm not sure how you would go about addressing that.

It's FSG and klopp is just taking the heatfor it in my guess.

Add out of ideas and very predictable.

That's why I said in the match thread I'm worried.

We've had all summer to replace Injury prone midfielders, probably too late now, unless we can get Tielemans. Can't rely on Keita, Tiago or Ox to be available for enough games, milly ok as a bench player and to come on to see games out, Hendo looking slow, Fab the same.

Listen, I love Thiago but, we just shouldn't be as reliant on him as part of that main three as we are. He gets injured... quite a lot. The drop off from him is way too much for us to have to hope and pray that he's available most of the time. That'd be lovely, but I just can't see it happening.

That was F***ing as sh*te as I’ve seen for as long as I can remember. What a F***ing time and team to put that sh*t show performance in.
Don’t care what anyone says, we need one or two top drawer midfielders in. The ones we have are not in the team long without getting injured or are not suited to play consistently together enough. Tonight was proof of that. If Thiago and Fab are fit all season with Hendo being able to backup, we’re fine. It doesn’t happen anymore

To be honest Van Dijk was ok. We are just used to see him putting masterclass performances every week that he had a very average game today. Didn't help that he had a piss poor of a midfield infront of him.

Don't even get me started on that.

I'm not looking for subs for subs sake but sometimes a few changes and a bit of chaos is the order of the day.

I understand Jürgen isn't talking about every game needs the 5 subs, just that the option should be there, but his ultra conservatism on making changes has always been a weakness for me.

First rule of good defending is probably to stay on your feet.  It's what van Dijk always does.

I don't think van Dijk expected Milner to go sliding into thin air expecting the first shot.  I think the reason Milner had a go at him was because he was embarrassed he'd been done.
