Thought Elliott did well tonight. And then the other kid comes along and bags the winner. Gonna be a talent that boy.

A win is a win and I'm going to enjoy it tonight. But the cold light of day tomorrow will paint the real picture ...  We struggled past Newcastle reserves.

Gonna give Fabio motm . Already contributed more this season than some have in 4 years. Well done Lad.

The Bobby goal was the way we played last year , quick sharp passing and at pace , dragging players out of position , it all started by quicker balls from the likes of Fab

Isak looks like a player - he is going to be dangerous

Worth remembering that City couldn’t beat Newcastle 😉😁

Only just calmed down! Time-wasting cu*ts got exactly what they deserved! To win it in the 98th minute in time added on to added time because Pope was feigning injury for the umpteenth time makes it all the sweeter. Have that!

      Our season starts here.

Nunez back. More players return from injury including Jota.

We can go on a good run now with the strongest squad since the season began, so for us.. this is the beginning. City only 5 points ahead. That win tonight was massive!

two most influential players a 20 year old and a 19 year old which is really wonderful but you cant expect them to play a 60 game season

A win is a win. We showed courage and we fought until the end. We had a little bit of luck with what lead up to the goal, but it was a brilliant finish.

Carvalho deserves to start a game; he’s been impressive in every outing — I’m just not quite sure whose place he takes. We could perhaps switch to 4231. Elliot had another good game so that was encouraging as well.

I’m not liking how flat we are looking and I’m annoyed that we haven’t signed a midfielder, but we have done well to beat Newcastle as they’ve been in good form and they managed to take a point from City. Granted, they were missing key players today, but they’re a well-organised side who have form and belief.

It could be a tough game on Saturday, but if we can win three in a row then that will be great and will fill me with more confidence. We will have Nunez available and he should give us a few more options tactically, and he’s a much needed pair of fresh legs. We’re desperately crying out for Thiago though. Thiago, Matip, Konate, and Keita can’t come back soon enough. Oh and we also have Jota who has been a big player for us as times.

So Howe reckons there was no 'game plan' to time waste and they had a day less recovery than we had from their last game.... poor lambs.Ask me if I'm ar*ed!!! :lmao:

Was going to post just before we scored, why was Gomez and VVD passing the ball at the back between them when the clock was going on to 96 min that did my head in

It was an uncomfortable watch until the last kick. We got a bit lucky with their offside...But we won and that makes us happy indeed.

Who the f**k cares - you have nothing to say about us winning , spent the whole thread crying about signings , said sweet fa when we scored and then mute as a C**t when we get a last minute winner.

Just put him on ignore and stop quoting him please. He's nothing but a detractor.

More bodies on the ground than the opening scene of Private Ryan.

Thing is, our awful first half performance gave them the opportunity to do that. We score first and that doesn't happen. We've GOT to score first especially in fixtures against these against small time managers like Howe

Even if we don't score in the first half we have to stop conceding in them. Everton will do the exact same and I hope Klopp keeps a cool head next saturday and the players too.

If Everton want to piss about for a point at home let them but I hope we don't get drawn into it and leave ourselves open at the back due to a lack of patience and composure.

Don't think anyone will be going home early tomorrow in that transfer committee of ours.

      Bare bones.
