Pretty much. After the game there's going to be the usual party in the Firmino, Salah, and Nunez threads because, once again, they did not score those 4 goals. Been saying that since game-1 this season, you can't start questioning this much anybody who plays up top when we spend our games losing the ball in midfield and defending this way. Not only are you not giving those players anything to work with, you're also telling them to score 3 goals minimum for us to even have a chance to win anything.

Just look at the way we move the ball. If its not a pass coming from Thiago's legs then its either a side pass, an over the top pass or some useless stuff from the two full-backs on their way to lose it once again. We can't break even the first line of press without trying like 12 times. The first half started with us being pinned in our box with Alisson passing the ball to one of his CBs only to receive again over and over again.

We could get to 2-2 early 2nd half. In reality we will need at least 2 to have a chance of a point. No way we go a whole half without conceding.

In reality we will probably concede before the 50 minute Mark. It will be upto arsenal then if they want to inflict more damage or just sit back and control the game and allow us to inflict damage on ourselves.

He’s hit the woodwork a few times, so he could have had one or two more goals with a bit more luck. I’m not sure he’s consistently going to be a 20 goal a season player, but he brings so much to the team. He creates a good amount of chances and he rarely loses the ball.

He could create and score so much more. Hitting the woodwork results in the same outcome as blasting it into row z. No goal. He could create a hell of a lot more chances if he were more spontaneous rather than guiding it and holding onto it with one, two, three touches too many. By that time the opposition has flooded the box in defence with at least three more players and he finds himself in a cul de sac.
