It’s a difficult one this for me , on one hand you have the oil money , that’s presuming someone actually wants to spunk a few billion , on the other hand you have the yanks , and I mean this as no slur on any of our American friends on here , but giving  the record of Americans in our game for the most part it’s pretty piss poor , the oil money may not be perfect, but given the option of mediocrity for years or cheering our club onto glory , there’s only one winner , As Pete said rival fans hate us anyway may as well give them a proper reason for it , or get left behind again .

No there aren’t many “clean” Billionares but imo there are levels

But the oil states imo go to a different level.

City owners we know are Financially cheating and suspect others will

But the human rights , treatment of LBGTQ , killing of the journalist etc


And imo they get involved in sports for one reason - to try and get people to ignore what happens in their own country

I'll take more oil than a bad curry. Idgaf it's about time we bought who we want when we want and the new owner can give Klopp a war chest. People only care when it's the other side hurting and killing people. The world crying about Qatar and human rights but the same people pay to go Dubai and enjoy the 7* hotels and lavish lifestyles for a week. Who do you think built dubai then bob the builder? No it was the same south asians who are being abused in qatar.

Bring on DIC and that lallana poster can sit at home and play footy manager on the pc where he can balance the books as much as he likes.

It's a tough one. If the powers that be don't enforce the rules, do you join the kunts or potentially get left behind? I would rather a professional outfit with a special interest in sports investments that isn't backed by a dodgy government or unlimited oil wealth but is nevertheless willing to support the manager and take more risks. Not every club having success right now is an oil state. I also think the more money that gets spunked by clubs throughout the game the more it pays to be smarter with that money.

We can lend Salah out to promote Qatar or something, deffo can start earning his contract money. If it isn't already his grid will be plastered all over the middle east and we'll buy M'Bappe, Bellingham, a few other midfielders, Klopp will be buzzing and Pep's head will fall off.
