Closer to the bottom of the league than the top, exactly halfway through. Imagine saying that in august 😐

If we had Diaz and jota with salah, I’m convinced we would have won today

Yea Chelsea were better. Let’s be honest, they have better players, hell they spent over 600m in the last 18 months, but you know what a fully fit Diaz and jota and those two are good as any player Chelsea bought

Bring those two back but for the love of god klopp please start baj every game and bring Fabinho on later or until he gets his game in order

I don’t know if we will get top 4 but I know we can challenge next season if we get some financial backing for 2 cm and the injuries sorted

Did you actually watch the game, Chelski carved us open on numerous occasions just like our previous games Jota and Diaz ain't gonna stop that happening

      Yes I watched it

Sure Chelsea created chances but we created some good situations

Salah was our only slight threat and did ok, he created a couple of decent chances

With Diaz or jota, we would be more of a threat and I feel we would have run more at their defence and possibly scored first which changes the whole game

We are a very poor football team.

      So much work to do:

One goal (Ox) in.last 4 games . We have problems all over field but defence improved and never cut open as we have in past with high line . Just not clicking in all areas players look nervous

How can people moan after  watching what they did see in the last 2-3 games, we were far far more solid, perfect ? No but that’s because we lacked the forward players who yes also help by putting in defensive work

Baj was decent and kept a good balance by holding back in his position

Eliott and Keita were meh but they could have been better with more runners around them

Jota is back in training, when did he starts every game pls

Confidence is very low, so hard to contrast last season to this. Like two totally different clubs

I’m not convinced about the ‘being positive about two clean sheets’ either.
We are still allowing the opposition to run at us and create chances.
We don’t look steady at the back and any clean sheet at the minute is more of a case of the opposition not taking their chances. Not like the old shut out days of rafa when we could suffocate teams.

We seemed to be outnumbered every time we got the ball today. Confidence is shot to pieces but it’s clear that every team does the same thing against us and we don’t set up to stop it.

We need a midfield general. A vocal leader. We don’t seem to have direction at the minute.

Yup 1 goal in 4 games in the league and people are wondering why jota and Diaz will make a difference, we will hit a decent run, klopp finally has got it

It’s like the cb situation those years back, eventually he got it after realising he needed to change

He actually dropped Fabinho, I am elated, when he came on, he did nothing to stop Chelsea running through us again, he was caught out way too far forward

Night and day with a dm like baj that actually sits

Probably the game where our Top 4 aspirations finished, the owners don’t give a Scooby and the coaching staff look like they haven’t a clue.

Got to face with what we are currently which is a mid table team.

Maybe next season we can get up there again.

But it wasn’t as bad before, we were facing a team that is playing football manager with cheat mode on with their funds and did well

Can we more solid ? Yes, I think hendo in for Keita and we become even more solid with baj sitting

Get Diaz or jota to stretch teams and run in behind and we stop some pressure to our back 4

Get the back man back as well with this compact system and we look better

I don’t think Chelsea cut us open until near the end properly when we ran out of legs. We also had our chances or two

I rather take draws than defeats, we badly need to keep us this solid and try to get some wins now to move forward but need the old guard back up top and at the back

Yeah, amazing player whose lost his legs. Thanks for all the amazing memories, now f**k off ;D

In 10+ minutes he gifted Chelsea two chances to score and was far too slow to react to a scoring chance for himself.

Of course they don't give a Scooby doo. They just want their money and to bail. I can't really comment on the game as bar the first 20 I followed it here but it sounded grim.

The next 4 months will be long and painful.

Well, same as the last two games then against them.

The struggle is real, better than last week, one point more than I thought we were going to get today.

I suppose after recent months you perhaps have to look at two consecutive clean sheets as a slow step in the right direction?  Need our forward options back.

More solid and better effort, but nothing to speak of in the way of attack.
