Pretty even gane tonight, despite McManaman n Darren Fletcher lickin Real's hole all game. Tie was lost at Anfield unfortunately.

Thought Ali, Virgil, Milner and Gakpo were our best players tonight. Everybody else was meh. We actually worked our way into quite a few good positions, but our final ball was poor all game.

The lack of quality in our team was only bettered by the difference in quality between both teams. I stopped watching at around the 80mins mark when Konate (I think) kicked it straight into touch, unchallenged.

The game was lost the moment we had Milner and Fabinho in "midfield". Both were useless, Milner at least put in some energy and effort but other that that, nothing. Unable to pass, to defend or create anything. The gap with Real Madrid is so big!

I hope Klopp understands we need at least 3 new midfielders to replace Keita, Ox and Milner if we want to compete.

Nunez and Gakpo were good; The issue with Salah is that he is too much on the wing and not close enough to the goal.
