I have my favourites too but Players come and go, granted I wish a few could stay longer but we all know this happens

Take another look at the goal conceded snd see how VVD was left unaided with the best two outfield players on the park.

Just admit Trent is a poor 1 v 1 defender

He's sh*te one on one. Not in dispute. He's a very good RB in the right set up, though, as we've seen. One that has unreal creativity. If you build a decent chunk of the team around not overly exposing him while having him express himself it's great but that's not there now.

The curtain has come down and the mentality monsters have exited the stage. There is a rebuild of monumental proportions needed. It won't be done over one summer either, the issues are too numerous. Some long hard months ahead for them and us.

Thing is he was never this bad and always held his own.

Remember him having Rashford in his pocket many times but this season not sure what has happened to him, hopefully it’s just a confidence thing.

Edit : this post can be aimed at most of our players apart from Fabinho who is just embarrassing himself pretending to be a elite player.

They were both inches from the ball, one was on the floor, and one was standing, and the one on the floor reacted first and we conceded. I know these things happen in split seconds, but for me, it was feeble from Virg.
