I find Pep to be as irritatingly smug as Arteta if not more so tbh, particularly when he's attempting to defend City's cheating.

Hoping City do the double. Be all forgotten about by the next day.

Arsenal and United proper clubs with proper fan bases. We'd never hear the end of it.

At this point City winning basically defaults another season.

Postecoglou really went in on Spurs and their fans yesterday. I totally understood where the fans were coming from. Ange should wind his neck in there.

Totally agree. City is just the reset button.

Means absolutely nothing, and then we can go again. Added bonus is that it upsets Utd :lmao:

Totally get Ange to be honest - Spurs just showing their small club mentality and why they’ll always struggle to break into the top four on a regular basis.

Cheering City goals and singing about Arsenal when a win would have given them a massive chance of CL football is ridiculous.

If they were so arsed why did they play so sh*t against Arsenal just a couple of weeks ago?

Both perspectives are pretty easily understood.

One's talking from a manager's point of view which he has to do but the fans will refuse to acknowledge anyway and the other side is making their feelings known from a fans point of view given what's at stake.

Ange has been there less than a year, he doesn't care about what impact a result may have on Arsenal or share the fans feelings of the rivalry....much like Klopp didn't with Everton/Utd when he first arrived, just saw it as another game.

For some months now he's looked pretty fed up real fast, snapping and pushing back at journalists...which I kinda admire.

Ange won’t be there long, he likes winning, which obviously Spurs don’t like doing… if they carry on being obsessed with how Arsenal are doing they’ll never amount to anything… can’t believe there is people sticking up for their fans in this situation when there was a possibility of UCL footy available…

Which begs the question why he went there in the first place, surely he know about the long standing rivalry between the 2 clubs? That's a DNA they both inherit which will never change. Came across a mini clip of Perry Groves (don't ask why) saying he'd rather Arsenal finish 17th than Spurs winning the league.  :lmao:
