      This makes no sense

      The Audio must be released

When the offside flag was raised, the linesman’s said it a few times, it’s offside which was said to the ref and var. therefore the whole var team would have known it was given offside

The fact they are allowed to ref in uae and then this happens, stinks of something dodgy going on

I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post a YouTube vid

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwQ0Zn_gVyc

Former ref discussing it well, is shocked at the error as the var team would have been aware

Believes the var team led the ref on to send jones off as he showed him a still to get his mind on a red card and then a slow motion of it. Rather than starting off at normal pace  and being objective

So this ref is saying Darren England would have known it was given offside,as they are in constant touch. This blows their fairytale made up crap out of the water, and just confirms to me what i already knew,it was not a mistake,he was never going to give that goal, corrupt bas**rds.

      https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66978938

Liverpool say that it is "unacceptable" that referees' body PGMOL categorised the VAR error in their 2-1 defeat to Tottenham as a "significant human error".

"It is clear that the correct application of the laws of the game did not occur, resulting in sporting integrity being undermined," the club said in a statement.

VAR failed to overturn an incorrect decision to disallow a Luis Diaz goal for offside with the match still goalless.

Liverpool said they will "explore the range of options available given the clear need for escalation and resolution."

      Interesting development.

Yup, basically if you look at the Howard Webb show where he showed some audio

The decisions are shouted constantly when made by linesman and so on. So they definitely heard at least once if not more it’s offside

Whatever, there is zero chance we can change the outcome, so focus forward. Brighton abroad is a pretty bad next game since these dudes are for real. We did lose there and we can lose there again, but we‘d need 3 points to get back on track.

It’s not just about changing things though is it? It’s the principle of the matter and the club not willing to roll over & take it up the arse like F***ing sheep.
It may not change anything but the club is doing the right thing in fighting it’s corner & wanting answers  like it has always done.

Bottom line is. It’s clear they were determined we wouldn’t win that game under any circumstances.
If either are ever involved in our games in the future, we should refuse to leave the dressing room.

It's not difficult to focus on 2 issues. Jürgen and his players can spend their time preparing for the games on Thursday and at Brighton.
Other people at the club will be dealing with the VAR issue. Obviously, Jürgen's press conferences are likely to be dominated by VAR questions but I don't think it will significantly affect the preparations for the next game.

The more we find out about this incident, it's just getting worse. On Saturday evening almost every Liverpool fan would have presumed this incident was just incompetence, a few days later more of us are starting to become very concerned about corruption because it's becoming a very suspicious situation.
We need a full investigation of this incident and some of the issues around it, PGMOL, the trips to Abu Dhabi, etc.

I'm starting to think that there is a possibility that the game will be replayed.

Either replay the game or change the result to 2:2.

Also suspend those idiots from VAR duties indefinitely. Investigate PGMOL thoroughly to see if corruption played any part in the "accidental" offside call. Make changes to VAR rules to ensure an incident like this is impossible to occur again.

The club are right to say the "integrity of the game has been undermined".and that the club "will explore all options" What every honest fan is thinking basically.

Neville has said the statement is a "mistake"...this is like every controversy in the game has to pass the ..."Neville Test"....WTF...give yer gob a rest mush.

Someone has clearly had a word with Neville and told him to change his tone. He was livid during the game and straight after but yesterday onwards he was a changed man saying we should accept the apology and move on.

Thick c**t doesn't even realise PGMOL haven't said sorry yet.

      Crazy stuff.

I was watching on TV in a pub and could see it was onnside.

Jota 1st booking was a joke.

Jones went over the ball yes, but he got the ball 1st and was no intent at all, just slipped more than anyway.

Anyway, this will galvnaise the team going forward.

      UP the reds.

That's right but it's not just about us, all kind of 'mistakes' are made, week in week out. No clarity on when it's a 'clear and obvious error' and what is the process. No clarity on offside decision making process.  No clarity on when a ref goes to the monitor, is he shown the incident in it's entirety. Is there set in stone procedure or is it a little bit 'off the cuff'.

A lot of confusion. Extra time added is a bit of a mess as well. Seen 10-12 minutes added and the next game 5 or 6. The remarks attributed to Mark Halsey need serious investigation.

Need to appoint a panel to look into the whole issue...Neville as chairperson obviously..

Yes but we didn't cause this crap. All England and Cook had to do was correct a simple offside decision. Not that bleedin' difficult was it.

Yes pen decisions are not that easy but this was a open & shut case if yer like. Don't need to be a Sherlock to get that one right Darren.

I mean whu calls their kid Darren anyway. I mean it's a cert he was in charge of the pencils at school. Wouldn't let him rewire a plug...bring the whole grid to a standstill..

Blatantly obvious they are going to call it an "unfortunate human error"...and it's claimed procedure was followed.

We are calling out England over it and he only has TWO choices...TWO DECISIONS AVAILABLE TO HIM.

1, CHECK COMPLETE ONSIDE AWARD A GOAL
2  CHECK COMPLETE OFFSIDE GOAL DISALLOWED

Could also in certain cases add...player in offside position and interfering with play but the two decisions above cover all eventualities.

If he sees Hooper hasn't heard properly, which I'm sure can happen he has to quickly correct Hooper ASAP.

FA have to RELEASE THE TRANSCRIPT TO RESTORE TRUST IN VAR.....

they cant use human error as an excuse because football invested millions into VAR to stop human error being an issue especially with goal line tech and offside. He only got back from the Middle East Friday maybe his decision making capabilities had been dulled by the experience.

Yes that's right but I was wrong about stopping the game once it has been restarted. He can do but only in certain circumstances, but apparently correcting offside decisions is not one of them.
