I’m staggered they didn’t give that challenge by Robbo as a penalty- it’s clear as day

Robbo on Toney was a pen.

The guy who flicked at Diaz's ankle could've been a pen.

Guess it cancels each other out  :f_tongueincheek:

There’s part of me that thought that’s why they didn’t give the one against Diaz cause that was a clear pen by Robbo. Think we are still on the losing end of the most VAR decisions though even with today’s results.

The most obvious pen of the day was the one where Jota was wrestled to the ground but they said it was ‘mutual holding’ 😂

You could argue it evens itself up at the end of the season, that doesn't help though when you are on the receiving end of a bad decision, had Tierney been the ref yesterday,he would have gave the Robbo pen.

Yeah when I heard that I thought to myself "that's a new 1", I guess now the defending team will always look to grapple and hold so long as they can make it look as if the attacking guy is initiating some hold of their own.

Making up the rules as they go along as I say.

Didn’t pay any attention to the ref at all tonight, it kinda helped.

Game was played without any controversy really, did VAR have to intervene at any point? Don’t recall. Only time I noticed something was Achterberg being shown a yellow after being aggregated over something.

Yeah, being aggravated over the inept one sided decisions by the ref.  AGAIN.

Naturally it's a Manchester referee in charge on Sunday. Chris kavanagh, from Ashton under lyne, 4 Miles from the emptihad,  is back.

Thought the ref last night was appalling,

Last 10 minutes, he blew for a foul against Gomez, when it was just a slight flick, hardly any contact. Then booked Gomez for saying.."I never touched him"

He then gave a foul against Bobby Clark, who just made an innocuous challenge. The Luton player actually jumped into him knees first.

He then gave Barkley a free kick, on the edge of the box, when on reply it was clear Barkley went down without a touch. Apart from those 3 bad decisions he wasn't atrociously bad. Couple of hand ball decisions but not a big complaint on that. 4/10...ish.

C'mon D77. You're better than that....You don't honestly believe officials deliberately conspire against Liverpool because they live close to Manchester.

Instead of just saying most manc refs are sh*te, inept F***ing shitbags as shown by Taylor shitting himself after getting stopped by Jose in the coach park.

Still at least you've got that "Perch" quote from Ratcliffe to get all fuzzy about.
