January Transfer rumors?

While I would have originally liked the club to sign a DM,
I think the current injuries to Matip, Robbo & Tsimikas means
the club could do with a left sided centre back.

Yeah I think if they could find one player that’s who they would bring in - think a younger DM will be for the summer

I think a loan signing for a left back would be a really good option if there is someone out there as both left backs will be back this season

Not sure if we need a cb with the breakthrough we had in the position

Still think we should be aiming for a dm to bolster the squad as a replacement for Thiago but then again I suppose it does depend on if he is going to be fit in jan

They have brought back Beck so I suspect he will be there as backup as opposed to binging someone back on loan

When I searched for Curtis Jones on youtube and twitter, trying to find a little video of his performance against Newcastle, I found that he's being linked to Arsenal and their fans are taking it very seriously, as if there was any chance at all of that happening, especially in January.

It was very strange - Arsenal fans rating him more than his own current fans.

The match threads are always the highlight when it comes to the likes of Jones - “wasteful and slow” was a recent one despite the stats showing he was far from “wasteful”

Klopp clearly rates him very highly- said in another thread he is the new Gini and he is currently from some getting the same level of disrespect Gini got - mainly from people who don’t understand his role and whah the manager wants him to do

Carvalho off to Hull hopefully he gets more game time.

Not hitting the panic button, but with TAA out several weeks, our fullback depth has taken a hit. We still have to hope Gomez stays healthy as well. I wonder if we are now pressed to obtain a defender in this transfer period.
