This injury issue is becoming vastly overstated, you would think we only had two players available....This is a decent squad and most of the key players are fit. On recent form you could argue Kelleher is playing better than Alisson....Bradley better than Trent...We should beat Luton.

Maybe fans have grown sick of the squad not being able to go 2 weeks without hearing of a new injury.

Every single player in the squad with the exception of Virgil and Endo this season has been out to injury one way or the other, it's a F***ing joke. It's cost us title challenges and top 4 places in recent years, we won't forget it.

Blessing in disguise: Grav gets some minutes to prove and to improve. Because with all our injuries guys like him better get some practise and confidence.

Ali, Szobo, Jota, Salah, Nunez, Jones, Trent ... potentially 6 or 7 of our current best 11 out including our first choice front 3, ... and it's overstated ... come on ....

Take 6 or 7 from city's first 11 or arsenals and see how they get on.  Not to mention thiago and matip who are also out.

Is Nunez definitely out? Salah? There was no definite mention of either? Surely if they had been definitely injured it would have been released? Thought the Boss said 'the rest we take it day by day'. (that could mean the entire squad!!!)  Or did I misunderstand?
Am not interested in the Cheaters/Arse or anyone else's injury list.  Stop being a harbinger of doom!

Seems a bit of a daft statement to make! And as a lifelong fan of more than 60 years you just have to accept that injuries happen - even if you don't like it! I am not sick of hearing about them I just get disappointed and hope they recover quickly!

Not in the UK no as it was rescheduled originally from a saturday 3pm kick off, plus don't think Prem games ever get shown on CL nights.

There's nothing more to it than what you see, just means the difficult seasons we've had under Klopp will be remembered mainly due to us being injury hit all over the place......that's what has prevented us from being even more successful under his management, well of course aside from a club that's been allowed to cheat their way to success.

They are both major doubts bench at best but probably not even that . Be lucky to make Sunday I reckon especially Darwin who seems to pick niggles up quite often

Injuries (some serious, others less so) may impact results but they don't decide who wins the league. If Villa hadn't give up 3 goals in the last 15 mins a year or so ago we'd have won it. If Everton had of been given THAT penalty against City...we'd have likely won the league...nothing to do with injuries...I'm fed up listening about them...ALL players (except Cristiano R.) get injured at sometime.

Take one game at a time, starting with a win, however narrow against Luton. Players available will have a great chance to claim a place in the starting lineup at Wembley on Sunday.

We have a lot of injuries but we should still be able to put out a team strong enough to beat Luton reasonably comfortably at Anfield.
They are missing their best striker, captain and a few other players. They had a difficult game on Sunday.
We have a much deeper squad than them and have experience of playing twice a week.

We are obviously going into a busy part of the season and need to be careful to avoid further injuries. A relatively easy Europa league draw on Friday would be helpful.

I suspect Nunez will be a sub and used if and when needed...if were winning then he'll be kept back for the final on Sunday.

Gone for 2  0 win for the Reds over Luton. Remembering the Kop will be fully behind the lads this evening.
