Can only really see three changes from Luton.
Hopefully Salah and Nunez were just precautions,
and they start. Konate in beside Virgil.

Sadly the fact neither Nunez or Salah being on the bench last night means to tell me neither will be ready to start the final, hopefully this will turn out to be untrue and we can see both start as that could well be the difference between winning and losing.

Kelleher Bradley Konate Virgil Robbo Endo Mac Grav Harvey Gakpo Diaz

Less than ideal but hopefully we can have some options off the bench to call upon.

Harvey must surely start after his second half performance last night. Having been turned down by Chelsea in his youth, then making his name at Fulham, he would be very motivated to do well. Hoping Mo or Nunez are at least on the bench.

Think Robbo will start mate, feel for Joe but Robbo is our No1 lwb, think also Jürgen made the right call leaving Mo & Nunez out last night, that X1 inc Robbo will start for me providing Nunez recovers in time, a week is a long time in football, enough to recover from a minor knock, …..

Kelleher, Bradley, Konate, Virgil, Robbo, Endo, Macca, G’Berch, Diaz, Nunez, Salah, should be enough to see off the Chavvy plastic lot !!

He was shockingly poor first half last night, though in fairness so were quite a lot of them. Fair play to him he grew into the game once he'd calmed himself down a bit.....he's always a hundred miles an hour, like a bull in a china shop. He needs to take a bit of time to think about what he's doing and what's the best way of doing it.......... The badge on the shirt should be enough motivation for any player.

The line up will depend on fitness. If last night had gone belly up I'd be less confident of melting the 'plastics'. They've hit a bit of form, but they don't sustain it. They might try and con the ref again, like they did with Tierney a few weeks ago.

Going for a 3-1...seems to be the most popular score.

Robbo isn’t carrying an injury is he? Surely has to start ahead of Gomez if he’s fit. Much better balance to the side when he’s out on the left.

Yep if anything Gomez is battling with Bradley for RB slot. Ibou a shoe in at CB with VVD.

Stirling, as we know, has a few tricks up his sleeve but I'm confident Conor can deal with him. Or Jomez if selected.

Issue is we let far to many crosses in on our right hand side. It's basically because we set up high and even more so on our right hand side. Always space down our right. Especially when Trent plays. So accordingly we get more biff down that side.

Plenty knock Trent or even Conor or Joe but it's partly a consequence of the way we set up.

      I’m
Just hoping Mo, Nunez and Dom can available on the bench for Sunday. Squad is incredibly stretched and should it be close going into the last 20 minutes or extra time we will need a bench.

Ain’t got a clue about starting elevens tbh… the fact Mo and Darwin didn’t even make the squad against Luton makes me feel bench at best for them Sunday…

      Going off that logic…

                       Kelleher
      Bradley - Konate - Virgil - Robbo
                         Endo
                  Macca - Grav
          Elliott   -  Gakpo  -  Diaz

Pretty much the same side expect Konate and Robbo coming in… Gomez comes on in second half at 1-1 and scores a screamer to win it at 2-1…

Wouldn't risk Mo or Nunez for this. Decision to be made if Robbo starts. Jomez could get in on experience over Conor. But will the Boss think playing a cup final would be great for Conor. Big games build character, he might be thinking, and Conor is a star player in the making.

Fact is all top teams have quality options in all positions and nobody gets a shirt on name only. Trent knows the score. When he's fit , he would expect to start but no guarantee's anymore.

We were turbo charged in the second half V Luton, but Wembly's atmosphere is a world away from Anfield and the Kop.

I’m hoping that Mo Nunez and Dom are all good to start.
Don’t be surprised as the medics would have been working overtime to try get them available 👍

Hasn't worked to well recently as it getting people back. If there is any doubt they don't play we cannot risk the whole.season over one game no.matter how important

Yep. And potentially a 120 minute game on a big pitch. No way they start if they were injured yesterday. But time will tell and not long to wait.

Think we may find out a bit about Mo and Nunez tomorrow?
Dom on the bench would be an absolute bonus.

Does the Boss go for Bradley - am loving Joe's performances of late tho.
Elliot (for all that he wasn't at his best first half last night) I thought he was excellent in the second half and looked absolutely knackered at full time so we could really do with Mo back - don't want a 120 minutes.  (For any of them)

We should see them off in the 90 I hope (plus the 3 hours that'll be added on for all the VAR decisions they will study so they can try and help the Chavs)
After this match many will have a nice rest anyway - think the Boss will heavily rotate for Southampton

But are we sure they were still injured yesterday ? Possibly recovered and rested 🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately no chance of mo and darwin starting.. very much doubt they will make bench. Going to be the same squad to choose from.
