Mohamed Salah returns to Liverpool's starting line-up for tonight's Europa League encounter with Sparta Prague at Anfield.

The forward is one of four changes made by the Reds for the last-16, second-leg tie.

Elsewhere, Andy Robertson returns in defence, while there are also starts for Bobby Clark and Cody Gakpo.

I'd say his thinking is to put the tie to bed by half time and use some of the squad for the second half....

It's the perfect game for Gakpo to shake off the poor form and get on the horse. We need him NOW!

We don’t have the luxury of defensive options right now so hands are tied somewhat however I am surprised to see Robertson over Tsimikas.

In midfield Endo the only surprise, then again Elliot and MacAllister both needing a rest too. Imagine Endo doesn’t play much more than a half.

Szoboslai and Salah no surprises at all for me, fully expected them to start. Klopp has talked a lot about rhythm and those 2 need the minutes, particularly from the start, so they are best prepared for the United game at the weekend.

Expected Gakpo to play as well seeing as he likely doesn’t start against United - I actually don’t see him starting many games between now and the end of the season with Salah and Nunez back and Jota hopefully returning in the coming weeks. This is a big chance for him to step up and put himself in the picture for the run in. Nunez himself a surprise for me, expected to see one of the younger guys in as the 3rd forward.

Seeing Robbo's name was unexpected - but a pretty solid back 4 I think?
More minutes in the legs for Mo and Dom - but Cody really needs to join the party and start to significantly contribute.
Hopefully we're cruising by half time (ish) and then some of the youngsters will finish it all off and everyone can have a nice rest before ManUre!

On a side note looking forward to seeing Endo play again, what an unbelievable signing. An archetypal Klopp player.

Kurt the other thread is closed now but Seville was Celtic (the other arse cheek). I was referring to their Cup Winners Cup final in 1972. I'm old git enough to remember it. 

Seems to be more about a tune up for the United game than countering any Sparta threat. But they won't be coming for a kickabout.

No damage at HT could see several changes and we'll see Danns again I'm sure.

Not surprised Dom and Mo are starting they need minutes. Couple of other starters are a bit surprising - particularly Robbo.

Come on reds put it beyond doubt & get those changes made.
