Suppose if you look beyond our dedicated support, you could see that coming. Just lack intensity and we're at home...! Just a lethargic dozy approach. And this is why we concede so early game after game.Happened numerous times. Squad looks shagged out.

I'm not in the 'season over' camp just yet but it's took a massive blow. Barcelona style come back required...nah..not against an Italian mob.

Seriously have to put some bleedin' effort into the league..at this rate Klopp will have to sneak out the back door.

Gutted at that, we were not at it tonight at all, feel sick to my stomach! Is this how Jürgen’s final season is going to end, on a whimper with only a Carabou Cup to show. He surely deserves much more than that.

Not tonight he didnt. As bad as we were ... he picked and prepared that team.

We didn't expect to be chasing 4 trophies after having to rebuild the midfield, but this result/performance does feel like a game too far. Too many mistakes from team selection attitude and lack of respect to the opposition, plus the usual going a goal down. gutted.

Well we've won 1 trophy and we are mathematically in the league for now. The FA cup has gone and the Europa league has gone.

Bin Nunez in the summer. For every goal he scores, he wastes 20 chances. We need someone who puts the ball in the net.

Embarrassed, humbled, outfought, and outthought—a shambles.

      Can't defend, can't finish, and can't pass.

      Kelleher mistake 0-1
Endo mistake (caught in possession) 0-2
Sobz mistake (caught in possession) 0-3

No imagination going forward, with no creativity other than Kelleher long-balling it. Terrible performance. Might be the worst I've seen under Klopp. All I saw tonight was a tired manager and a tired performance. And dare I say it, ineffective tactics.

Well done Atalanta. A simple man-marking and pressing game destroyed us.

We have no big game players apart from Virgil it seems. No leaders at all

Dominic needs a few weeks on the bench

If we don’t beat palace then it could be a stress free couple of weeks until the end of the season

Did you happen to watch Virgil this evening? Someone probably should have told him it was a big game if he's a big game player.

We have to go to Atalanta and do that which we have done before. We were poor.

Wasn't long ago that we put in a top performance against City but yes I get your point - it's all gone to pot a bit, certainly after we've come back from the international break.

We were quite fortunate to beat Brighton and Sheffield United at home and at Old Trafford it was only Wan-Bissaka losing his head that got us a point.

Heads have gone and legs have gone.

      Sorry. Thats on klopp.

That was a disgraceful performance. Klopp played a stronger team against sheffield united ffs than he did a uefa QF. But that team still should have done alot better than that.

Could have been 5 or 6.

No complaints. Well beaten by a far better team. Better defensively, better on the ball. Strikers that can fcuking finish imagine that.

I will leave it there before i really go to town on some of that rubbish tonight.

      It absolutely is.
That selection set the wrong tone and tempo and the team never recovered.
      No respect given to Atalanta.
      Played far too open.
      No control.

Kelleher was also proper sh*t today. Gomez F***ing dreadful at both ends.

Alisson, Trent, Jota got to get back in ASAP.

Seen more than enough now of the 2nd string goalie and right back.

They are not as good as we think they are.

Nearly every team has one shocker in  a season, Arsenal's was Fulham, Citeh's was Palace at home after being 2-0 up, we've just had ours. Wipe, delete and reset for seven cup finals.

Get our strongest 11 out which includes Trent, Bradley and Jota. Go again. (No Szob)

Kelleher playing very high the last few games. It won’t have gone unnoticed by strikers.

Some folk saying it's on Klopp...yeah you could say he's picked the wrong team but FFS the players we had on tonight were more than capable of much better than that. I think we've been a bit arrogant tonight and been bitten on the arse.

I've said it from the very beginning of this cup. I said it last game when we twatted whoever the F**k it was 10-1 on aggragate or whatever.

Our attitude to this tournament has been shocking and it gets us into bad habits.

      We are wide open.

Not sure what's happened because Klopps Liverpool at its best has midfield control but recently it's just you attack, we attack, you attack we attack..

There's not even an attempt to control matches and it creeps from this tournament into the prem.

So much so we were playing basketball with Shef Utd a few weeks back and we know about the games with Man Utd.

My genuine hope is the next manager installs real midfield control into this side because Jürgen seems to have forgot its Importance.

And again it's worth saying there's a documentary coming out about all this. It's looking like avid viewing for none LFC fans for a proper good laugh.

When the genga mentality was there, no one could live us, but since this 'thinkihg' footy has taken over, ifs become so predictable that all half decent managers can combat this. Wrong choice Jurgan
