I think it's time to cash in on Mo.

200 million we can do a lot with the squad.

Apparently it’s being rumoured he’s not off to Saudi now.

      Seasons over now unfortunately.

The other two may drop points but after that we won't be consistent enough to capitalise.

      Ah F**k this feels sh*t.

He leaves winning a trophy in his final season

It’s disappointing and gutting right now

But F***ing hell some of the sh*te being spouted , hyperbole overreacting right now

Think banging on about a League Cup in 2024s world is hyperbole too tbf.

Nice to win it but not sure what's happened since then.

Got progressively worse and not sure it's peaked just yet.

Honestly who really gives a F**k about the league cup if you should be winning the league.

“Should be” ?!! Since when “should” we be winning the league

And last I looked it’s far from F***ing over yet

But it’s staggering that all those players that got into a title race and winning trophies are now no. Longer good enough

      Embarrassing some of this sh*t

On the bright side, will probably add weeks back on to my life not having to deal with the stress of the run in. Mentally checked out now, anything we get is a bonus but realistically we finish the season with a league cup to show for it.

It’s a trophy that matters, its a trophy that sits on the champions wall

And there are still two more to fight for

Honestly if it wasn’t so painful it would be funny. How can a season completely disintegrate in a week? 1 week ago we were absolutely slaughtering Utd, then we fu**ed and look what’s happened since.

Good enough to not win actual stuff in the end now.

Let's not kid ourselves here. We fu**ed 2 competitions in 2 home games. That's not a sign of mental strength, we need new hungry players.

What a huge disappointment, very sad way to end the season but this is what you get when you keep starting like tw*ts and giving up the first goal.

Why are we so desperate to constantly come from behind to win games? That's not monster mentality mindset, that's just plain F***ing dumb.

We could have scored 3 but so could have CP. Klopp never fixed his defense though it was written all over the wall after us going behind for a zillion times. This is Liverpool from 2017-18. Today you could sense the insecurities, no swagger, no plan, no #20.  :f_wah:

I feel like we have overachieved this season to an extent.

At the start of the season, top 4 was the more realistic objective and with a lot of new players coming in, I would have happily taken a third place finish. Truthfully, a title challenge is us being a year ahead of schedule. Over the past few weeks, I haven’t been feeling that we’re quite at Arsenal or City’s level.

We have got by this season by scoring and winning late. A lot of our performances have been below par and just like last season we are still conceding early goals.

We were really poor at points in this game, especially early, but a couple of heroic blocks kept us out. It could have been a different result, but when you go behind over and over again, eventually you’re going to lose. Credit to Palace.

I love Klopp but I do think it’s best for him to move on next season and let somebody else give it a try. It could definitely go tits up but Klopp looks burnt out (did so last season) and he has made the correct decision for his own health to step away. I also think we could benefit from a different system/setup.

On a positive note, Gakpo looked good again. There is definitely a player in there so I hope he can start to put it all together next season.

I think we fluffed the title last week in all honesty, but after today’s result, even if we win all our games, I don’t think it’s going to be enough. Let’s hope we can turn it around in Italy and end the season on a high.

Feels like the season has ground to a halt over the last week.

      Fortress Anfield is no more.

Back to back defeats at home.

To be Champions you get it done....you just do, you find a way. We were behind for about 75 minutes..75! Two defeats at Anfield in a week who'd have thought?....Players put in the effort, but there was no quality on the ball or structure to what we were doing.  Let's face it even if we'd got back on terms we were never going to win all our last 6 games. Depressing. Hollow. Gutted for JĂźrgen that's not the send off he deserved.

Has the trophy been handed out yet ? Season done !

No it hasn’t - there are many more weeks to go yet

It’s amazing how 3/4 week ago the rhetoric was about the team being in a great place for a new manager , now it’s people dribbling nonsense about “big reset”

Ffs we regenerated the whole midfield , its a start of new generation after a rebuild and it’s prob ahead of where it should
