I still think we need a new CB

I mean it was probably two at one point if Matip leaving and Konate plays one every two  now at least only one might be needed

Be honest. Do you think we would've signed Nunez if Edwards was in charge?

Possibly one of the biggest disappointments player wise is Szoboszlai. Started really well but after his comeback from injury just looks very ordinary. Hardly seems to break sweat.

Diaz tried tonight I'll give him that. Robertson and Ali too. Think that was about it.

Nope he was 100% a Klopp buy and that’s the risk of giving managers too much buying influence, a bit like his Immobile buy at Dortmund.

I actually think we could very easily have won that game.
Even with the problems we had at the back and set pieces.
We had vast majority of possession, including in their half, created more, had more shots etc.
How many times did we hit it straight at the keeper 1-on-1, or mess up good attacking positions, and attempts on goal etc. etc.
A good finisher gets a couple.
      And goals change games.
Maybe am a bit deluded, but doesn't feel like we were a million miles away this season.
And that is what's so incredibly gutting, that we got within touching distance, yet again, and managed to fumble the ball short of the line.
Can't really put it into words.
We talk about it every year - the fine lines between challenging for a title, and winning one.
Going that extra yard money-wise, or not.  Making tough decisions re. players, or not.
Jürgen has had us challenging so often. Just feel he deserved more. Like again this season, and in other seasons before,
He has been monumental for us.
Am sure he will get a great send off.
      And he deserves it.

Our set up is to easy to play against. A close press and a parked bus.
Slow paced passes easy to cover. Little off the ball movement when building from the back.
Even when passes down the line we’re open, to allow us to get behind, went square or back.
No one prepared to take a couple of players on with a dribble, so no defenders moved out of their comfort zone.

      Goals conceded just shocking defending.
50/50s mostly lost, so many miss placed passes which were simple 5-6 yd passes.
So many interceptions because we waited for the ball instead of attacking it.
      Airial challenges mostly lost.
And they looked more sharper and slicker on the ball than us, even though we had possession for more of the game.

A culmination of the above, has cost us since the utd cup game.

When things aren’t going well, it’s easier to get dragged down than it is to raise your game.
To think how some of these players were performing six weeks ago 🤷‍♂️
Who knows what the cause is ?
Only thing I’m miffed by is the starting 11, of who some have been piss poor for a month. And the subs.
Again, we needed goal so changed two defenders.
Where’s the sense in that 😱

Season over in 3 weeks. Just unreal 🤷‍♂️

Let’s see what the next 3 weeks bring.

MOTM for me was Quansa because he was such a big improvement to Konate who I think should have been hooked on 20 mins.
Spot on mate..every word.....We've just folded, the whole thing has collapsed like a pack of cards........ and the worse thing is some of those players just went hiding...like spoilt school boys.

Supporting this Team really can crush you at times.

Am still sat here heartbroken. Tears have not stopped flowing since the second I saw TAA star gazing at that c**t whilst letting him have a free header for their second.

Don't think I can bear to watch the last 4 games if they have already given up on Us.

      Totally shattered and distraught.

I still think Klopp announcing he's leaving the club mid season killed the mentality of this team. The club should've kept it a secret until the end of the season because it feels like our players have completely gave up.

Don’t want to be negative but as a true red what else is there after that?
Diaz, Virgil and Robbo tried to take control 2nd half but there was just nothing on - nobody making a run.
No fight, no brains, no composure, no cobfidence.

And, I think we lost pretty much every aerial challenge in the game and yet threw long balls, crosses and corners into their box repeatedly, expecting one of ours to win it. Bonkers.

Why didnt we getDanns on at 2-0? It was obvious Mo and Darwin were having no impact and needed hooking. We changed things around at Fulham and got a tune out of them, then go back to what wasn’t working for THAT fixture?!

The whole LFC approach to that game was a sporting exemplification of the Einstein theory of madness - “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

F***ing gutted. Stop giving crap teams encouragement!

Just watch the last game. Problem is I'm not 100% sure about securing top 4, I don't even know how many points do we need to secure top , but these performances don't fill me with hope.

      Carragher is spot on

There may be a few leaving as they are not Edward buys with the data model and be replaced

Sad reality is our team has overachieved and we just lack the quality

How do we get a new manager in lad if that's the case?

The second we phone another club up to ask about their manager it's hitting the papers.

Yup sadly in a world of social media it would have spread onlinewithin seconds, and we'd all be complaining that he wasn't forward with us first.

No Im not having this. He announced it January 26.....A month later we win a cup with a sh*te load of injuries, a few weeks later were top 2 in the league and still in the 2 other cups and the squad is returning to full fitness......this collapse has happenned in the last few weeks when by the theory of the announcement we should have been in sh*te by early February

Hahaha heard some of his sh*t at the end.

The exact opposite of what he was gassing after we won the league Cup.

Plus his trying to act a crank with Rooney when Rooney was questioning the Klopp announcement was a bit embarrassing.

      He's a F***ing knobhead at times.
