Yeah - we should have bought Anelka when we had the chance.  And I don't think you can guarantee with any certainty that Voronin would have put that ball away.

Totally agree JD. One of Houllier's biggest mistakes in my opinion.

He should get a few goals in that Chelsea side Bolton will miss him big time.

Anelka and Drogba up front? Quite dangerous that. Anelka has already said that Chelsea will be his last team he plays for here. So I reckon we put a cheeky bid in, in the summer.

As for Anelka , he is a great striker BUT his attitude STINKS! , fits the bill perfectly for Chelsea tho!

Just read yesterday that Anelka still regrets not being signed on a permanent deal by Houllier. Apparently also states that the LFC match score is the first he looks out for every Saturday, thats a nice way to show his admiration for the greatest club in the world.

Write them off at your own peril? I'm not doing that, but what I am pointing out is that under Avram Grant they are not even half the team they were under Jose Mourinho.

They've got the sulkers - Malouda & Drogba
They've got the overrated - Mikel, SWP, Kalou, Anelka

Also they play like robots!

Should we fear them? No way.. but we shouldn't call ourselfs as good as through as the tie hasn't even been started yet!

Mate I gave up watching Chelsea a long time ago, but sometimes for some reason I just watch them.
I mean, they even struggled to finish off teams like Olypiarcos and Fenerbache... they don't have the right to knock us out, they really don't!

As long as we don't play like robots against them, we'll be fine

It got that bad that I was shouting 'PASS IT!!' or 'OUT WIDE!!!' 

I'm only supposed to usher my own team on! But it really was hard work watching it.
