Thommo wouldn't say something unless he was confident in it but as we have seen, over and over again, these things can be volatile and change quickly.

      Hope he is right.

Apparently Thommo said he hoped the sale situation would be resolved before the derby.

I found this http://forums.bootletimes.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=147492 and one of the lads on there heard the interview. But, as usual, it's all just wild speculation. I can't find any actual source.

Hoped? Isn't that a word borrowed from Mr Broughton when he said he hoped a sale could be concluded before the end of the transfer window?

Ah well, we're nearly there and i have to say i have a good feeling about it.

I can not see a sale going through before derby, it would be nice to have the shituation sorted out as soon as possible but I would be surprised if the club was sold before the new year.

Would be nice to get the ownership situation sorted and then with spirits raised, hand Everton a good 6-0 thumping...
However, I refuse to get my hopes up again.  I am numb to it all now.

Wednesday October 6, will see another seismic event in an already dramatic season when RBS will demand an interest payment of £67m from co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett or take possession of the club if they do not receive it.

What I was heard he said he was told before that a takeover was close but nothing happened, this time he has been told by someone much more reliable that something could happen before the derby.

He is a regular contributer to the football show on newstalk.

      Tomorrow's the sixth.

We've done about as much as is reasonably possible (outside hiring hitmen) to get things changed.

Now we just have to hold onto our balls and pray the right things happen.

They ain't gunna pay up £67m. It's not realistic.

Not to hold someone's balls anyway.

Saying that they've had us by the balls for 3 years.

I F***ing sick to my teeth reading sh*te from Liverpool fans saying we should stop the protests, Hansen said it as well yesterday we should stop the protests and get behind the team.

I don't expect to hear anything tomorrow to be honest I think the 15th or 19th seems more likely, it has just been to quite the last couple of days.
