      Cheers mate!
Recently got an Eos1000D and having lots of fun with it - and Bonni really is photogenic :)

Where did I go wrong uploading pics?

Think it might have been something to do with linking them straight from an online album mate? Not entirely sure. Might have been Photobucket having link probs.

Agreed though, she's a proper photogenic lady isn't she!

I didn't have an upload option when I posted them, otherwise would have done it straight from my PC.

Anyway, my mates sis and hubby had her and her bro but couldn't cope with both and wanted to keep the male, so after getting a text asking if we knew anyone who wanted a staffy, my GF started fretting (vegan animal lover) and going on at me, so I said we'd have her.

Best move I made in a long time.

Was brought up with dogs, but haven't had one for years til now - and now I remember what I'd been missing.
She's not just pretty, she's smart and loving as well, and I can't imagine life without her.

We have to spay her, and I just hope it doesn't change her personality.

I know I'm gushing a bit, but she really is a diamond :)

And yes, she's a tiny bit boss-eyed, which just makes her even cuter ;D

      Thanks mate!

I get carried away sometimes because she's just so lovely - in temperament and looks.

Really, she has stolen my heart - and my GF's ;)

She's a little beauty KiK, got a lovely face.

I'll have to introduce her to Enzo, my daughters boyfriends staffy  :) he's soft as muck, lovely he is.

She loves playing with other staffy's - it looks rough, but it's all part of the fun!

My mate has an Akita cross, and they get on really well - lots of rough and tumble ;D

Problem is, she gets so into playing, she won't come back sometimes, even for treats, so we have to watch her a bit.

When she doesn't come back straight away or we have to go get her, the lead goes straight back on and playtime's over - the indignant look on her face is an absolute howl! but it has to be done, and she's learning that she has to come when called.

Molby's doing my head in. But he's funny.

Question for other dog owners though - does yours have a mental moment every now and then?

Ours seems to have about two a day - he'll go absolutely crazy, full pelt running, turning, swivelling, jumping on the chairs and onto us and back down again for about half a minute or so?

Bonni has mad moments all the time, but staffy's are well known for them ;)

Every dog I've ever known has them though, to one extent or another - particularly smaller dogs.

Just realised my post probably made things sound a lot worse than it is. I think it's simply down to getting rid of some energy and apparently dogs do it sometimes when they're anxious - when he's been told off sometimes he'll do it.

Yeah. To keep a dog from being destructive or just plain out of hand a long walk or running it out of them will do the trick. You hit the nail on the head there, Ross. He has a lot of energy that he needs to use up. Otherwise, he'll channel that energy into more destructive behavior, ie destroying your house.

      ARGGHHHHHHH
Just as we're about to make an appointment for bonni to be spayed, she comes into season.

Ah well, no cut and shut for at least 3 months.

She's quite subdued, but not really moody or anything - just a bit pissed off because we won't let her off the lead I suppose.

Some people may remember my post from 7 months ago.

My dog went in for a cruciate ligament repair operation.

He's not very happy, not even his new toy Chicken is getting any interest.  I've counted 23 stitches. Hardcore mother f**ker.

Well I've just collected him from the pets after another operation.  The cruciate ligament had gone in his other back leg. :(

Double hard b***ard. Getting lots of JD love.

Awww. Poor fella. Sounds insensitive, but I'm glad that's all it is. After putting my guy to sleep it's what I imagined you were going to say.

Max is it? I hope the healing goes quickly. He'll be running around with logs in his mouth in no time. ;)

Not at all BR, didn't want to mention anything on the forum until it he had all the tests and operation again because it went well last time.

Bit of a shame - practically the whole year has been a bit wiped out for him but indeed it could be far worse.  I know plenty of people at the minute who have got serious concerns over friends and family members.  Until I have kids he is effectively like a child to me! ;)

All I will say is to recommend people get pet insurance! You never know.
