I don't suppose anybody has a clip of that memorable goal (disallowed) that he scored for us.

Possibly on the LFC DVD '501 greatest disallowed goals'.

Just any footage of the great man himself would be enough.

'Signed by Rafa in 2000' ???

Anyway, moving swiftly on. Legend, hero, gentleman, there simply aren't enough superlatives to describe this king amongst men. He was a class act in every sense, and my life is richer for having seen him play.

God I love someone as sarky as myself....

Apparently he was on his way to a fork lift driver job interview and got lost on the way....JCB's loss was our gain I suppose...

      ridiculous isn't it?

now I don't know what I'll do with my shirt with his name and number on the back of it!!  I think I'll put it on e-bay.

If you put the shirt on e-bay how much are you going to pay someone to take it of you.Maybe it could go in the hall of shame=I mean fame.

This is both confusing and hilarious. Bernard should have never left his last club. not everyone is as lucky as veronin.

Even Bernard Manning would have blocked Harewood's fluke.....Bernard Cribbins wouldn't have done an Aurelio and 'volley-balled' the 2nd one in.....and Bernard Matthews....sod it.....can't be arsed coming up with a turkey joke....

One month on, how's everyone coping with this tragic news?

Personally I think I'll only be able to get it out of my system if/when we win the Champions League in May.

Sure but steady?  Didn't want to peak too soon?
There are many reasonable explanations, it's just that I can't think of a good one right now.

Too good, all of the other clubs payed him to not play because they were afraid of his ability.

Poor unintellectual Venison, would you dare release this man on to the pitch and ruin the credentials of the greatest league in the world? I think not. There is great talent and then there is, Bernie.

I feel as a Liverpool supporter, i should propose that we retire the famous number of ol' diamond Diomede.
